Hannibal's crew were extremely prompt. We had our estimate within just a few days of inquiring, the price was great, and they got us on the schedule about a week after we accepted the estimate. The tore out and removed the old cracked patio pad, dug it out, put in the fill, put on the forms, and poured it within two days. They came back on the morning of day 3 to remove the forms and finish cleaning up. Great and timely work, friendly crew. We would hire again.

Projects were all well done. When it warms up - they will be back to fix some more damaged that the woodpeckers did this winter.

I left the workers unsupervised. Lots of damage resulted from their work...long strips of wallpaper pulled off the wall by masking tape; large staples left in window trim; paint on carpet and on new step ladder; paint on the deck and steps; Stains on the ceiling bled through right away. It appeared to not have been primed. The company acknowledged my claims and refunded my money promptly and without question, but I've lived with the negative results of the job for several years now. If you hire this company, be sure to supervise the work closely.

The immediate once over looked great. Just by looking around, we didn't notice anything wrong right off to bat. And then we noticed that standard nails and not finishing nails were used to put down the base boards. Behind the bathroom door in the corner, the base board had split from the nails being driven. That they tried to cover up with caulk. They also installed quarter round along the baseboard and cut a piece just large enough to place across the heating/air floor vent and nailed it in. It was not intended to be boarded over and we had no intention of having a glaring white floor vent staring at you. It is downright ugly. I am surprised that a contractor doesn't have at least a little bit of common sense when it comes to matching colors. If he had a question about it, we would have been happy to explain that we were replacing the vent with one above contractor's grade and that sure wouldn't be white on a beige/tan tile floor. But what brought the unkind words was the fact that they had installed the medicine cabinet upside down. The support plate is at the bottom now. The cabinet was clearly marked by the manufacturer to hang it the other way. There were even arrows pointing up with words that said HANG THIS END UP. I have this advice for anyone who hires this company: 1. Don't leave them alone in the room not even for a minute. 2. Inspect every nook and cranny for shoddy workmanship. 3. They were referred to me by someone who had quite a bit experience with this company. The referral was from someone that I trusted and respected and worked in the same field. 4. Be very specific about everything that is to be done. Don't assume that they can read.

I had an exterior door leading out of my garage into the back yard that was not hanging straight due to the house settling over the years. The door would not shut and latch properly. I also wanted to install a pet door in that door. Economy responded promptly to my call, did the work requested within a week, and did thorough work. After about a month the door started scraping the sill, so I called them back and the original contractor gladly came out and fixed the problem, no additional cost.
