Burnett Automotive is a full service Goodyear Tire dealer since 1967. Burnett is a family run business that started in a single gas station and has grown to multiple locations in Manhattan Kansas and Kansas City Metro area in Johnson County Kansas. We offer a full range of tires and automotive repair services. No job is too minor or major to take care of for our customers. We offer free shuttle service, home and business service calls and much more that you are used to getting from a “home town” shop!

Services we offer

We do all automotive major and minor vehicle repairs, oil changes, fluid maintenance interval services, tires, wheel alignments, shocks and struts, brakes, air conditioning repair, engine and transmission replacement. We also offer computer reprogramming and diagnostic service for vehicles. We sell all brands of tires including Goodyear, Kelly, Dunlop, Michelin, General, Continental, Nexen, Hankook, BF Goodyear, Firestone, and many too numerous to mention. They're very popular and thus very busy so it can take forever to get in, but after that it seems to go quickly. My van still always runs rough afterwards but it is 32 years old. At least they always get it running again.

I paid approximately $2,500 for some comprehensive maintenance on a 2006 Subaru with approx 125,000 miles. This maintenance included recharging AC, replacing water pump, all belts, all fluids, etc. Approximately 3,000 miles later I had a complete engine failure with a cracked head. When I took it back to them, they didn't do anything other than charge me more money to look at the engine and recommend replacing it.

The station examined the car and determined that the problem was the battery. It was good, but not completely charged. My son was told that if he could continue waiting, they would fully charge the battery. When all was said and done, my son was not billed. We were both impressed and thankful. The station did NOT take advantage of him. He was NOT told to come back when it was more convenient for the station. The station's diagnosis was correct, he has NOT had any other problems with the car. He will use them again.

I was referred to Burnett Auto by a friend. Today I called with an impending flat tire and was able to get an appointment within an hour. With two young kids I was concerned about a wait, but I was in and out within half an hour. We had control of the television (Direct TV) and my daughter was given a pack of silly bands to help bide the time. The price was reasonable, too. I will absolutely go back to Burnett Auto, even when I have to bring my kids with me again!
