Great company and employees.

Went very well!   Aspen is dependable and efficient, quality at a good price.  Roof looks great!  Job was done in Independence, Mo.  Aspen also did the roof on my Leawood, Mo home years ago and did a great job!

We had this roof replaced long before we joined Angie's List, but thought I'd write a review anyway. It was the winter of 2004 and we were extremely pleased with their whole operation. They were prompt, worked hard, and did a great job of cleaning up. We did have a minor issue several years after the fact, which really wasn't an installation issue, but they came right out and made the appropriate repair. We've recommended Aspen to several friends. Most of the roof was covered by insurance, but I don't remember a dollar amount.

I was happy with the quality of the materials they used and it was done quickly.

We found them on Angie's list. Since we had insurance, they were paid by the insurance company, and we didn't have to pay them anything. Their responsiveness was not that good because their foreman did not come by all the time and we had to call and leave messages. I do understand that there was so much damage in this area, so I assume he must have been busy running around. They did a good job, and we haven't had any problems since.

We had a very dry summer and fall. Our first measureable rain occurred in late October or early November 2011. The roof leaked. We called Aspen when the roof leaked. The water had come in around the dormer and caused significant damage to the ceilings of two rooms and the garage. it also damaged the paint in both interior rooms causing it to bubble and peel off. Aspen, came out and slapped some shingles to the siding of the dormer as a bandaid until they could get someone out to fix the actual problem. The ice and water shield had never been applied to the dormer. The first project manager who did the original work, no longer worked with the company. We were given a second project manager who brought out a crew who did the bandaid and promised to return in a week or so to do the repair. We continued to call this project manager who always promised to have someone out the next week...but no one showed up. In January 2012 someone else called and said project manager #2 no longer worked for the company, but project manager #3 would have someone come out and take care of the problem. A couple of guys showed up and looked at the roof, I am not even sure they went up on the roof. Now we are in to February. We called February 4th when no one showed up as promised the previous two days, only to find out project manager #3 no longer works for the company and project manager #4 will contact us soon. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. We have repaired the interior of the house because project manager #2 had assured us that they would have it fixed in a week or two. He also told us that the company would pay for the interior repair. Of course we have seen no reimbursement for that expense.

They did a good job and they were very nice.

Great person to work with. Provided us with an estimate, and worked with the insurance company. He insisted that he not receive payments until each section of work was complete. Large roof took about two days. The painters took about a week to pressure wash the house, spray and back rolled two coats of high quality paint. The gutters and down spouts took about a day to replace. The garage doors were replaced in a day. All of the work was top quality. All of the subcontractors were pleasant and informative. This short paragraph does not begin described the pleasant experience.

They were very expensive, but did a good job. They were quick and clean in the job. They were not loitering around and didn't mess up the landscape. I recommend their services and will use the same in future.

It was a short amount of time for him to get here. The price range was good. His work was excellent and they did it all in a day. I would recommend them.

The work that they did for us was good. I never had any problems with them.

They were professional, on time, and cleaned up after themselves.

They removed the old roof and replaced it with an Owens Corning composite roof. They also replaced all the gutters. They provided me with their insurance info and helped me to work with my insurance company. I did not have to give any money upfront. Their workers did a good job and they were very pleasant to have on my property.

Bobby was the general contractor and he approached me about the damage he could see on our 20 year old wood shake roof. His company exclusively focused on roof replacement involving insurance claims. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. The job was finished in approximately 2 days and the workers were experienced and worked long days. They did damage a section of my guttering but have contracted with a sub to replace the section that matches our house color. The crew could have done a better job with the clean up work (i.e. nails, staples, damaged guttering, etc.). On the other hand, they did leave leftover shingles, plywood, flashing and roofing cement.

They showed up when they said the would and got to work right away. They took the old roof off very quickly, had a quick lunch break and came back and put the new roof on. They cleaned up the mess and were gone all in one day!! I was thrilled to have it done so quickly. I have waited almost a year to write a report so i could see if any leaks showed up. No leaks!! I'm very happy with their work. Matt, their manager, was wonderful to work with and went out of his way to help.

IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO ASCERTAIN THE QUALITY OF WORK WITHOUT GETTING ON THE ROOF (WHICH WON'T HAPPEN) BUT IT APPEARS TO BE QUITE GOOD. VERY PLEASANT and COOPERATIVE TO WORK WITH.
