It did not go well!!!  They packed the truck and there were items left over so he proceeded to pack them against the car on the fenders of the car tow.  They were strapped down against the car which cased extensive damage to the car including the paint and detail work to be rubbed off down to the metal.  The car will have to be repainted and detailed.  I phoned him and he claimed no responsibility for his actions.  I was just outside of Turpin, OK when the items strapped down on the fender began to fall off because they were not secure enough.  He was unreasonable in paying for some of the damage and continues to strap items to the fenders of car tows and cars (according to him) because he has always done work this way.  He tried to blame me for the damage by saying that I insisted on doing this practice.  I actually asked him about doing this because I did not want to loose anything nor did I want to be stopped by the police for breaking the law about how to travel.  I had 2 police officers who saw the damage and how the items were packed/strapped across my vehicle and both said that was not customary nor safe.  They said that Southwest Kansas Movers were responsible for this as it is their job as movers to know how to pack trucks and they needed to take responsibility for their actions.
I would never recommend these movers nor would I ever use them again.  I warn anyone who may be considering movers to go with someone else, anyone else.  I would even pull someone off the street for the job before using Southwest Kansas Movers.  
When my items fell off the fender of the car tow, I lost some of my items as they blew away, some got damaged, and of course the car was damaged.

It was the worst experience we have ever had. They did not have proper equipment. They damaged our property. They said they were insured and they are not insured against property damage. Do not use them. They refuse to return calls!!!
