We worked through a general contractor when they stained/refinished our staircase, but we followed up personally with Tyrer office staff to schedule corrections to the staircase project and schedule work for the entryway foyer hardwood floor. While affable and responsive on the phone, they never arrived as promised and rarely provided status of when they would show up. After reworking a problem with the middle landing of the staircase, it had to be redone one more time to make the finish consistant with the rest of the stairs. Russ, Tyrer's principle trouble shooter, was very professional and ensured all issues were resolved. We had an issue with the finish being lifted from the staircase, which was caused by the tape bonding to the surface in a few areas, most likely due to a chemical reaction with something spilled on top of the tape. In any event, after several visits, all issues were resolved to our satisfaction and the final product looks outstanding.
Description of Work: Tyrer stained and refinished our entryway hardwood floor. They also stained and refinished our hardwood stairs as a subcontractor.
