We are very pleased with the refinishing of our hard wood floors in the kitchen and entryway. The work was performed in a timely manner and we were kept up-to-date on the progress.

The work went well but I misunderstood the timing and had to be out off the floors for about 5 days which at that time I was very pregnant and not sleeping well. It was great to keep my current floors and they worked to keep them original. They made a custom color since I was not happy with the options. I appreciate their patience with my indecisiveness at the beginning.

The installation went well, but the results were horrible. I have attached pictures to show how the carpet looks after a couple of days. Why would anyone ever sell a carpet that does this? I have to vacuum twice a week just to keep the pile from getting too mashed down. Beware! His customer service skills are zero. He simply doesn't return calls. I would never use his business again.

All work was done over Christmas, while we were away from the house.  On our return we found multiple issues with the work, including several areas on the hardwood that were not finished correctly, stain from the floor on the wall, broken piece of furniture, furniture not moved back into it's proper spot, staples from carpet install left on the bathroom floor...and the list goes on.  My biggest complaint was the base shoe was not removed from the existing hardwoods to refinish up to the wall.  I specifically asked for this to be done and this is not something that could be corrected after the job was done.
Jason never responded, personally, to any of the problems or issues.  Joy, who does all of the scheduling, did respond and did attempt to correct many of the issues.  
I believe that having the work done over Christmas was not a good idea, as I think many of the problems were due to the workers being in a hurry or just careless.  
I continue to find problems, but will not call them anymore to fix the issues, unless it has something to do with warranty work.
They did do an an excellent job on the carpet installation.
When I emailed Jason letting him know of my concerns, I mentioned that one of the reason's I hired him was due to his high ratings on Angie's List.  He informed me that he was not a member of Angie's List.  

They did an excellent job and we will use them again if and when necessary. The only thing I would have preferred is that they give the homeowner more notice about when they plan to arrive and work on the floor. Minor detail, but it would have been nice.

From the beginning to the end of the service, this was high quality. My first call to the company was easy. The owner himself came out to do the bid. He was professional and friendly. We went to his warehouse to pick out tile and the process was fun! There was a wide range of tiles to choose from. With careful guidance from Jason, we found the perfect tile. The  project was scheduled for the following week. Mike came out and did a superb job, it looks amazing! I will definitely use this company again!

Overall it went well but 3 days to do floors actually turned into 5 with weekend and can't go in on the 3rd day. The actual team did not speak english well but the receptionist/admin called me to discuss things when they had questions. Jason was very prompt and easy to get ahold of when I needed the quote and then disappeared when I had questions or issues. I would call him and then his admin would return my call which is so unprofessional. I stopped calling after a while. Other the the communication issues I am very happy with the work they did.

Originally we thought we wanted new floors put over our existing scratched up hardwood floors. Jason explained that he could salvage the existing red oak floors and make them look like new in 3 days! Oh, and they did! They were on time, professional and we're very proud of the end product! I recommend Jason's work!

Contractors by nature are generally terrible to deal with but Jason is one of the great ones.  Him and his team refinished the excising hardwoods on the main level of my house and added new hardwoods to match in the main floor dining room and office as well as the entire upstairs.  The work was done quickly and looks fantastic.  I had another company bid on the project and Tyrer destroyed them.  Great company, great product, great service

Jason and his crew were GREAT to work with.  They were very responsive and accommodating to our multiple requests.  I would highly recommend them, and will be calling them again when we are ready to redo the rest of our house.

I would say overall the experience was good however we did have one issue which was when they installed the new hardwood in our great room it resulted in the grout being indirectly damaged in our cast concrete fireplace mantel. This damage was fairly extensive and was a result of the installation process ( pounding and pneumatic nailer) . They did replace the grout they knocked out but it was not a match. When the fact that the grout did not match was brought to their attention they did come back and replace the grout with a closer match. Our home was built in 2007 so it was difficult to get an exact match. We had new hardwood installed in our dining room, great room and in the hall at the top of stairs. We primarily dealt with Joy and she was very good to work and so were the other employees of the company.

Prior to install  they screwed down underlaiment to correct squeeks in the floor. Also removed tolit and reinstalled Pulled and reinstalled base shoes.  Installers showed up at the given time and completed job as promised.  We had our cabinets refinished so they could not replace base shoe when they finished the floor. Returned to complete job when requested.

Jason is very responsive and prompt in providing samples and quotes. His workers were on time, clean and professional. I will definitely use them again.

They were good. I was a little irritated that they used Brazilian installers that spoke portuguese, so it was difficult to communicate with them.  They did come out and fix the one thing.

They were referred to me by a friend, and they are very good. The workers were fine and they did their job. I would definitely recommend them.

It went very well. The work took 2 days and one additional day to seal the grout. They did a great job. They left everything neat and clean each day. The carpet was installed in 2 rooms and on stairs and the tile was installed in one room and down a hallway. Everything was matched up well and they even made the suggestion to use 2 rows of1 inch tile to make a transition between existing tile and the new tile that were different sizes and colors. That was perfect. It looks like we planned it that way. They had to take up existing tile and they did that so well that you'd never know it was there. The price was very reasonable and Jason was helpful in picking out the materials. We were so pleased we had them install carpet and vinyl tile in the home we were selling too.

It went very well. They arrived on time and had the job done by the end of the day even though it was a lot of work. Carpet was installed in 5 rooms, a hallway and on stairs and vinyl floor covering was installed in the kitchen. All the existing carpet was hauled off and everything was left clean and neat.

Very well - the new floor matches seamlessly with the old.

About a year ago, we hired Jason to help with our kitchen remodel. Part of the work he did was to re-finish the hardwood floors. They stripped, stained, and sealed the floor in September of 2008. A few months later, we noticed some nuances in the floor - color seemed off in places, almost looked chipped. After checking around with friends, we discovered that the floor seal should not have chipped so soon (should actually last a number of years before showing any real use). Therefore, we FINALLY got around to calling Jason to see what he could do to fix it. Jason called back and scheduled a visit to check it out himself. He confirmed our findings, and immediately scheduled his guys to return and re-seal the floor. The only reason for the "B" grade on quality was the fact that they had to return to perform this work again. However, Jason was great to work with, very professional, and showed he is committed to customer satisfaction.
