Gary was quick to respond and had it fixed that day. The service was fast and professional. He ensured I got my car out first so that, no matter what, I could make it to work. We'll be calling again for any future repairs or when it comes time for a new door!

I wanted a Clopay garage door that matched the other doors so I did a convient online price/ order form on the Home Depot websight for a specific door and extras, with and without installation, to use as a price comparison. I gave this to Gary when came to give his bid and he was able to beat Home Depot's price for the same door and similar opener installed. I also got an extra remote, bottom rubber seals and step plates installed on the other older doors. The workers were very professional and did high quality work. I am very pleased.

We needed a new garage door as the one we had was builder grade and breaking. After a calling and meeting with couple of different providers, Gary was the one that was the most personable and the most reasonably priced. He was very easy to work with, and he thoroughly informed me as to his process and what to expect. The install was done in about 3 hours, and the new garage door looks great. I can't find anything wrong with the workmanship, and everything looks professional. I am so glad that we went with The Overhead Door Guy.

Called Gary, and he answered right away. Our garage door opener had stopped working. Our family uses this as our main entrance and I had some security concerns with having to disconnect the opener so the door would function. Gary let me know he could get us worked it promptly. I had done some reading in the past and new i wanted a door that integrated with My Q so it would work with our home automation. Gary can install any opener, but by default installs the Genie brand. Gary was very candid about pricing, competition, and the different brands and options. He called his supplier and quickly got me a price on the brand and product I needed.
The install went without a hitch, the gentleman were very nice, worked fast, and did a great job. Their price was competitive and the opener has been working well.

Our 47 year old garage door finally broke right before Thanksgiving.  Gary was the only one who promptly returned our phone call, and came to our house the day after Thanksgiving.  Since we ordered a custom door, we had to wait 3 weeks for it to be built and delivered.  The installers showed up with our door during the first snowfall of the season and had all the work done within 4 hours!  They were  professional and courteous and completely cleaned up their work area, taking the old garage door with them.  I would never hesitate to recommend this company, and will definitely use them again!!

Ted and Jeff arrived on time. Both were very professional and detailed guys. They also had a great wit and knew how to make things fun. They installed an 8x7 Clopay insulated garage door in a low overhang situation. To say space was a factor is an understatement. The old garage door was not installed correctly and was literally being torn apart at the seams. During the installation they had to put together a few new ways to attach springs and guide lines. They also had to overcome a guide rail cemented to the floor. The installation went perfectly and was done quickly and cleanly. I was really pleased with all of their work and would highly recommend them!

These guys installed an opener in my difficult garage. My house came without openers when I purchased it, I'm unsure if it's ever had them due to the low-headroom situation. They came in about $250 less than the other 3 bids I got due to the fact that they were willing to use an innovative product called Super Sneaky to eliminate converting to a low-headroom track. The super-compact, belt-driven ($40 more than chain) Genie opener they installed is quieter than I thought possible which is important due to 2.5 bedrooms being above the garage! I can't wait to have them do the same install on my other garage bay in the spring.

I called about 7:45 AM and was told that they could have a service person out to replace our torsion spring by noon, but probably more like 10:00 or 10:30.  I was shocked (and glad!) that they could get someone out so quickly, so I made arrangements to work from home in the morning.  Noon came and went without even a call, so I called them back at 12:30 and they said it would still be another hour or so before they could get there.  I couldn't wait that long, plus the amount of time it would take to complete the repair, before going to the office so I had to reschedule for later that afternoon when someone would be home.  They arrived on time for the re-scheduled appointment, but I had already wasted my entire morning waiting for them.  I know schedules change and jobs take longer than planned, but a call from them as soon as they knew they were going to be late would have been nice and would have let me re-schedule my day.
The service man that came to the house, Ted, was very polite and nice.  He got right to work, completed the job, and left no sign of his having been there.  The door works perfectly now.
I realize I spent most of this space talking about my one complaint, but we really were very satisfied with this company and will use them again in the future, if needed.

The service was very prompt, professional and complete.  I am very satisfied with the results.  The garage door works better than it ever has.

. Our garage door was not working smoothly because a wheel had come out of the track. When the provider arrived he inspected the door carefully and was able to diagnose the problem with the mechanism. He also noticed that a number of screws were  loose. He tightened the screws and replaced a part . The garage door was much quieter after this repair. He did not leave until he was certain that the door had been repaired and that there were not other problems.

Gary was great!   he was able to come by the same day I contacted him.  His price was what he quoted me.  He was friendly and professional.  I was very happy with the service.

I purchased the garage door opener prior to installation after asking him a lot of questions regarding what brand/type or opener to buy.  He was really fast installing the new opener.  He also programmed my homelink in my car to work with the opener and gave a lot of helpful information about my new opener.  I will definitely be using OHDG in the future and when I need new garage doors. 

I've called Gary several times over the years and he is always easy to work with.  He always responds quickly to calls and will do everything he can to make the needed repairs the day I call.  He always calls to let me know if he is on his way or if he's running late.  His prices are very fair.  I would highly recommend his company.

Great, Gary answered my initial call quickly and professionally. He said he could come out later that day and would give me a call when he was available. Gary called and arrived within 20 minutes ofhis call. They went right to work and fixed everything in less time than it would have taken me to go purchase the needed parts. I plan to call them anytime time I need work done on our garage doors.
