The job was fairly complicated. Other estimates were devastating and filled with up charges likely because our idea of spending a ton of money was to get more than just your normal bathroom rehab. We spent an afternoon checking out all the different types of countertop materials at the warehouse and became confused with the total mass of options. They gave us suggestions that proved to be perfect. Rob and his install crew came through and we never looked back.

"This review is simply not fair or just. We never claimed we are a perfect company and never made a mistake, but the implications in this review are plain unjust and wrong. The biggest concern we have from this person's implications is concerning our pricing. WE simply DO NOT under any circumstances RAISE OUR PRICE FROM ESTIMATE, (unless the customer adds in more square footage or items, this would be the only exception). NEVER, EVER WOULD OUR ESTIMATE BE HIGHER THAT END PRICING, NEVER WOULD WE DO THAT! WE don't like companies that do that. We did not do that for this customer (and she knows it) and have never done that to any or our many very happy and satisfied customers. This customer did add a $706 Kohler sink to her order (that we sold to her at our wholesale price of $457 along with a free Custom edging discount of another $400). Ken O'Toole, owner NSA"

The experience was great. New Stone Age is run by Ken and Rob, a father and son team. Rob came out and laser templated my kitchen WITHOUT tearing out my old countertops. Unlike other granite companies, I was not out of my kitchen while the Silestone was being fabricated. This was a huge plus for me as I am a stay-at-home mom and need use of my kitchen at all times. About 2 weeks later, Rob and his team came out to remove the old countertop and backsplash and install the new. I was able to select an Ogee edge at no charge! Other companies were charging $20-$30 per linear foot for this type of edge. New Stone Age's price was based on the square footage of my countertops and tile. Period. There were no upcharges for cutouts, the island, etc. The price was lower than anybody I could find for the high grade Silestone I choose. Rob and Ken were a pleasure to work with; they are honest people and easy to work with!

We found this company at the home show last spring. We started getting estimates from different companies during July & August. After 4 different estimates, we decided on New Stone Age based upon price and professionalism. Their price was the lowest, they included the custom edge at no cost and did the tear out and haul off our our old countertops and back splash. All the workers all were very courteous and professional, drove company vehicles, and prompt. They used a laser to template the kitchen, then approximately 3 weeks later began the installation. Tear out and granite all done in one day, followed immediately by the tile work. Workers cleaned up everything.
