Complicated three point lock with a gearbox actuator worn to point door was difficult to open. Chris, the technician, diagnosed the problem. When the new part arrives, he will return to install and adjust it.

After submitting an inquiry on Angie's List, Mid America Locksmiths responded almost immediately ( the other providers still haven't, a day later). They came out the next morning, exactly as scheduled. The technician, Chris, was very professional in manner and dress, quickly identified the issue and fixed it. We are very pleased with the service provided and will use them for all locksmith needs in the future!

Had to have keys made up for a utility vehicle

It was fine. They came to my house and fix it. Everything was done and the price was okay.

My son placed a bobbypin inside my ignition (with the loop-side in), which caught on something inside disabling my vehicle in our church parking lot (at night). A friend of mine and I tried to get the pin out with pliers to no avail. Therefore, the next morning I called several locksmiths to see who is auto knowledge and a good reputation as I didn't want to damage the vehicle any further.
I was very pleased to find Mid-America Locksmiths. They were very professional on the phone and said that there was a minimum $79 service charge to come out. The locksmith was on another job when I called, so they said he would call me within the hour so that we could meet up where my car was. (They knew I was safe at home when I called.) Randy Conradt, the locksmith, called within 15 minutes and promptly met me there.
Randy was a very nice, professional, and patient gentleman. It was very cold out that day and it took many, many tries for him to get the bobby pin out. He persisted, where many would have probably gave up and forced it out by damaging the vehicle. Instead, he used a variety of tools and angles, until it was finally freed, with no damage to my vehicle!
I was afraid the bill was going to be highly inflated as I saw all the effort Randy put into it. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it was only $85.72!
My original fear was that I would have to pay a locksmith, tow my vehicle to a repair shop, rent a vehicle until it got fixed with Christmas right around the corner. Thankfully that was not the case.... and my son got to move off of the top of the Naughty-List ;-)

They were very friendly and didn't give me any problems about wanting to program the key myself. It was fantastic and allowed me to save the $25 programming fee.

I called them in the morning and they came, like I called at 9 o'clock and they were here by 2 o'clock. It took him about 30 minutes. Their price was good. He was fast and good at his job. He was very nice.
