Jackson's Overhead Door

The price was good. They did a good job on the installation. I have tried to get hold of them a couple of times since and I haven't been able to get them. I was very happy with the service when I had them but I wanted them to adjust something and I haven't heard back from them.

They were great. The technicians showed up the next morning, were polite and very friendly. They did their job very quickly, and charged what was quoted, which was reasonable. It was a good experience overall.

One of the steel cables snapped on one of my garage doors.  Initial call went right to Rob Jackson.  He offered to come out that very night, but we arranged for next day appointment.  He gave a courtesy call when he was on the way.  After review of both of my doors, we agreed to replacing the springs and cables on both doors.  While this was his suggestion, he did not push it and said it was completely up to us.  My wife and I thought it would be a good idea to do so as this was a recently purchased home and the garage doors did show up on the inspection as something that would need to be looked at soon.  We arranged for another appointment when he would have his assistant with him.  They were prompt and quick and we received the 25% off spring replacement that was offered on his website, and the 10% discount for being an Angie's List member.  Overall, a great experience.

Rob Jackson arrived within 1 hour of my call requesting a quote to replace my garage door. He explained the differences between the three different steel garage door types, the insulation values and structural integrity of each. His price was very competitive compared to quotes from two of the big box stores with the same quality door. The garage door was installed within three hours without cutting any corners. He and his assistant were very professional and explained maintenance that I need to perform to increase the life of the door and springs. I would use Rob again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Jackson's Overhead Door.

I called Jackson's Overhead Door at 5:30 pm one evening after hearing a loud noise in our garage and they said they thought the spring had broke and could be over in an hour.  They showed up within the hour, and the diagnosis over the phone, of a broken spring was accurate.  Our garage door is old and actually had 2 springs.  They worked for over 2 hours and replaced both springs and a cable.  They were professional and thorough.  I would recommend them to any friend or neighbor looking for a company for garage door repair.

Our experience with Jacksons Overhead Door and the owner, Rob Jackson went very well. We found his company on Angie's List and called. He came out the same day and fixed the broken garage door opener at a very reasonable price. He then located 2 replacement garage door openers to replace ours and installed a garage door keypad on the side of the garage door. All this at a very reasonable price. We really appreciated his promptness, friendly work ethic in 100+ July heat.

Called on a Tuesday, and he responding that he'd be available on Wednesday afternoon.  He called back on Wednesday after noon saying that an emergency job had gone long on the other side of town, and that he'd be late.  I told him it could wait until Thursday since it wasn't an emergency (I could open and close the door manually).  Showed up on Thursday and completed the job promptly.  He was helpful when I asked questions about opener operations and when I asked about replacement options.  I would call him again.

This company is wonderful! The owner brought another man with him to help life the very heavy wooden double door. Both men were efficient, professional and courteous. I was especially grateful that he started earlier than usual the next day to make sure my husband had his car to go out of town that morning.

Rob arrived within 2 hours of my initial call and quickly assessed broken garage door and provided a free estimate. My garage door opener/springs are 13 years old. Within the 1 day, Rob replaced two overhead torsion springs and installed a LiftMaster (model 3280) 1/2HP Belt Drive garage door opener (w/ all accessories). It took him approximately 2.5 hours to complete the job. His work is flawless, removed and hauled away my old garage door opener and it works perfectly. Rob is an independent and I researched all local vendors, including the cost for me to do this repair myself. He's very flexible; he even offered to install a door opener if I purchased it myself. LiftMaster is only available to contractors and it's higher quality than Chamberlin (parent Co.) and Genie. The quality, quickness and price can't be beat. His competition is almost twice the cost (Raynor Garage Doors) and they will charge you to come to your home and quote an estimate, which they will apply if you choose them for the repair. In summary, Rob knows his trade. He will provide you with an honest and free estimate, which I find rare for this type of repair, uses quality products, and is the most reasonably priced.

Very upfront and honest about what the price was going to be. No last minute "gotcha"! He was able to install both of my doors in about 4 hours (including removal of old doors). His workmanship was excellent, and he treated me very professional. You never really know who's going to show up to do a service job, but Rob was a great surprise. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. Can't beat his prices!
