In February, Josh Dukes (hope I got the last name right) was the technician who came to my house to do inside and outside service. I have had an ongoing problem with mice for about 2 years. Even though I feel like the problem is getting under control, Josh gave me some new suggestions to seal off some possible points of entry and tips for watching for activity and placing traps. He did a great job of checking and treating throughout my house. Send Josh my way for the next service at my house.

Sales person stopped by and offered me a discount for a one-time treatment.   I agreed to it as he told me "cancel any time - no problem".  Well, he didn't mention that the company expects you to buy 4 more treatments at full price.  Since I didn't need further treatment, I attempted to cancel my service, but the company wanted to charge me around $400 for "getting out of contract early".  So much for being neighbourly.
As for service, they showed up while I was on vacation w/o giving me a chance to confirm/change the appointment.  Since I wasn't home I couldn't actually verify that I had a treatment, but I did pay for it.

We have been customers of Insight for a few years. We were customers of Radius Pest Solutions before Insight bought Jeremy out. Under Jeremy it was going very well and the service was very thorough (inside and outside spraying without question). After Insight took over it has gone "downhill" dramatically. I've called and asked numerous times that I want the inside of the home sprayed at each service (we pay by the year) but they said that I would have to call back each time when we receive the automated phone call and let them know I wanted the inside sprayed--ummm, really?  They can't note that on my account? Annoying but whatever.....I see this as them trying to deter themselves from doing extra work (inside and out spraying). I was irritated by this but dealt with it BUT recently I had a very annoying situation. Heads up--when the service professional shows up, they come to the door to say they are there and leave when they're done without notification even if you owe money for that service. SO, our year had run up but the worker didn't tell us so I just figured they'd send a bill in the mail. Within 5 days I had an Insight customer service person from North Carolina calling and saying he needed to collect that money over the phone.  I asked him I would pay it when I received a bill in the mail or if their professional would have given me one in person--previously it had been this way.  He said the bill had been sent 2 days prior to him calling me--so I asked, then why are you calling me and acting like collections.  I told him I'd pay the bill when it gets to me via the mail. Two days later--I received the bill in the mail and later that night received ANOTHER collection call from Insight telling me I needed to pay.  I've been a great customer--always paying for the year all at once because the servicemen used to notify us our year was up when they'd get done spraying and I'd write a check right then and there but now the servicemen seem like they don't want hardly any contact with their customers.  I felt like I was being treated like a customer who was trying to get out of a payment (far from the truth) and so I told the customer service rep to cancel any/all further service from them.  He tried to offer all kinds of things--including a discount but with the declining in-person service and then being treated like I was a customer trying to "dodge" payment via collection calls after only a few days (within a week) after the service and not receiving a bill--I.was.done!!  I'll never recommend them and it stinks because I'm very dedicated/loyal to businesses.

Excellent!! The technicians are very proficient and the price was the price; they didn't try to nickle and dime you to death. We have a lot of spiders, small crawling things, and mice. Since Insight started I have only caught one mouse (in great, baited traps they provided), all crawly things are dead, gone, or caught in the "sticky traps" they provided. I haven't seen a single bug "inside" the house for the entire year.   

They also do two things I think are great: 1) they use a long handled brush of some kind to wipe and clean our under the eaves of the house to get rid of spiders, etc. and 2) they put a "protective" barrier of something all around the base of the house that apparently keeps things out or kills them.   

They are also helpful, friendly, and efficient!  They used "electonic" communications to let you know when they are coming, as well as billing etc. They also have an option so I can pay for the entire year and save a little.    I highly recommend Insight!

This is a local franchise.  Their total service package offered is good in that it includes spraying part of the yard. But if you only want one or the other, not both, then this is not for you.  There are cheaper alternatives.

Their concept is good; but their execution is bad. They call and leave a message telling you when they will be out to spary your yard. They never call to schedule an inside spray. I always have to call them to come back. I feel like they are counting on customers to not call back for the interior spray.  Their philosophy is to keep the exterior treated as a barrier so you won’t have to spray the interior; but we have yet to be bug free in our house even after four treatments.

 Last time they came, I watched the technician spray the exterior.  He did NOT spray as much of the yard as demonstrated by the salesman and depicted in the sales literature. 

 I will say that the staff is very friendly and try to be accommodating; but the business is not really structured to accommodate customers individually.  It is more of a cookie cutter approach in that they come spray the outside of the houses based on a route and on their schedule.  We have asked both verbally and in writing for them to call and schedule both sprays to be done at the same time.  That has yet to happen.  They just show up while we are at work and leave a bill on our door.  We don’t know if they actually sprayed or how much of the yard they sprayed like they were supposed to.

Would I hire this company for a future job? No - for what they want to do, the local hardware or home improvement stores offer exterior treatments much cheaper.

We've been overall happy with them.  I'd give them a B+ in price.  We've definitely seen a difference since they've started spraying.  There are no issues with scheduling, and they're very punctual and courteous.  They call ahead and confirm that the dates are OK.  They're very professional and do a good job following up with you about what they've done.

I’ve had a mixed experience with them.  The people are fine – they’re very nice and professional – but the results are not thrilling.  The price is not bad ($99/quarter).  I have another offer from another company, and may I end up looking around.
