Gentry Roofing LLC

I initially contacted our roofer (Gentry Roofing) on 8/22/17 because we discovered a leak in the roof they installed for us in 2012. I did not hear back from them after multiple follow up calls (each time, I left a message, either on the owner's cell phone, or with the answering service at his office), and finally contacted the contractor that initially managed the roof project for our home 5 years ago. Within 2 days, I heard back from John at Gentry. My take away from this was that I was not important to him as a customer, and he didn't care about our problem. He offered the excuse that he had over 100 calls that same week that I initially called about our problem. I completely understand, but it did not excuse his ignoring me the way he did. They supposedly fixed the problem, and I hope that's the case. But regardless, the lack of response was unprofessional, frustrating, and left me not wanting to work with Gentry again. Since they're my roofer, I have to. But if I could go back in time to 2012, I would have hired someone else.
