Don't use this company. If you have an outage they won't notify when it comes back up. You will likely go a week without service before they can have a tech come fix your internet. Don't even think about asking for a credit for said week long outage because they will just keep sending you to different departments. If at any point you ask to speak to a manager, you will be told that they have to submit a request to have someone call you back and even then their "hands are tied". I have had more than one time this has happened.

Terrible customer service with spotty at best internet service. Good luck getting ahold of anyone at the company to actually resolve issues. Especially if you’re calling to have them fix your internet because they slowed your speeds down or to take off the extra money they tac on to the bill. ZERO STARS

It sucks. I've had them for a while. They should improve the reliability of the system to work when you want it to work. Their responsiveness was very good but they didn't fix it.

The service has been good. I'm on a special and I'm getting Show Time as well as a lot of channels. You always get a real person that answers the phone when there's a problem and they are pretty much on 24/7. One thing is kind of a nice feature with them is the remote lights up in the dark, so you can see what you're doing.

They were timely but it was new service and it was the first time the technician installed it so it took a little longer. He took time to walk me through the programs and controller.

With the merger all my email folders were wiped clean. Spam blocker also no longer works. So I am now
without all my saved emails and am getting page after page of garbage emails everyday that should have been blocked out by the spam blocker. I called tech support 10 days ago and was told they were aware of all the email problems and they would be fixed in 48 hours. 48 hours later I was told the same thing and ditto again after another 48 hours. Asking to speak to a supervisor gets me put on hold for 30 minutes and then the line magically goes dead. Today I was finally told that all my deleted emails will not be restored and that the spam
blocker function is somewhere else. Where I don't know nor could they tell me. Tough luck I was told and put
on hold again only for the line to go dead again. Customer service needs to change their name. To what I don't
know but they sure don't provide any customer service. These folks and their service has gone from bad to worse and I truly believe they don't care. Internet service is very slow and their television service also leaves much to be desired as a lot of my HD channels just go blank for hours on end.

Surewest used to be Everest and they are a local company. They seem to be more receptive than the other companies around here. The quality of their service for cable and internet is good. I have used them for years. I left them for a year, because they kept raising my prices. It would be $10 more this month and then they would wait 3 months and raise it another $10. I got so mad and called asking why my prices kept going up and then sometimes they would lower the price and sometimes they wouldn't. So I left them.
When I came back they installed a bad router and I didn't realize it. For the longest time we were having problems and I finally called. I talked to one of their I.T. people and he was able to walk me through a series of tests and figured out it was a bad router. I drove over and picked up a new router at their office, which is like 7 minutes from my house, which is nice. Then the guy was very good. I am not very computer literate, so he was very good at giving me directions so we could figure this out. Then I was able to come home plug in the new router and everything has been working well since.
When I picked up the new router at the place I sat and waited for about 20 minutes while the 2 rude girls at the counter took their time and then bad mouthed customers right in front of other customers.
If you don't stay on them your price will go up.

I've used them a number of times to close the pool. He does a great job, and I'm very happy with his services. He is professional, and through. My neighbor even uses him now. I will continue to use him in the future.

I wanted to switch to them and then my husband decided he didn't want to, so I called them back and I cancelled the service either the same day or the next day. The day I had set up for them to come, their service people came and I told them that I had cancelled it. They told me to call and remind them that I had cancelled it. All of a sudden a week or so later we didn't have any phone service, so I called the company that had been providing the phone service for us and told them that our phone was not working. They said that we didn't have phone service with them anymore because we switched to Surewest. I told them that we had cancelled the service but they said that Surewest didn't tell them that it was cancelled. We took the whole package from them like internet, cable TV service and things like that. For over twenty four hours because it was a Sunday we didn't have any phone service. It was really important because my husband is a physician and we have two lines. We have the phone line and we have a secure fax. They couldn't do anything about it because it was a Sunday and the people who would have to deal with it don't work on Sundays and I couldn't call Surewest and make them fix it because that would have been like accepting their service. I think the package was going to be around $100 a month by the time we added the secure cable and everything. The charge was for cable, phone, internet and secure fax. I was pleased with the price and things like that but my husband didn't want to switch because he didn't think it was going to be enough savings considering that he had to change his email address and he has got many contacts. I would give them an ‘F' for my overall experience because they were notified of cancellation twice and they didn't carry through; it was a major problem for us. They were punctual. They came on time. I would use them again because of their price but I wouldn't use them considering their professionalism.

1. First they tore up part of our yard to bury a new cable instead of using existing cable.
2. We are moving and tried to set up an appointment at least 2 weeks in advance and the earliest they could schedule an install date was 5 days after our desired install date. We then cancelled the appointment and set up an installation with another cable provider. When I called to cancel the appointment, the "customer service" representative was incredibly rude.
3. After we scheduled the appointment with another provider they called us to inform us that we were still under a contract and if we cancelled our service with them we would have to pay penalties. I was informed that we would have to pay $25/month penalty for the rest of the time left on the contract. This totals $150 but today I was informed that the total would be $350. SOMEONE IS LYING !!!
4. We have requested a copy of the contract and transcript of the phone call in which I supposedly agreed to this contract. I was told by 2 different people that I would receive a copy by email and have yet to receive it.
THIS TO ME IS EXTORTION. THEY TRY TO STRONG ARM CUSTOMERS INTO STAYING BY TRYING TO SCARE THEM BY TELLING THEM THEY OWE OUTRAGEOUS FEES IF THEY CANCEL. PLEASE, SOMEONE TELL ME WHO TO CALL, BECAUSE THIS HAS TO BE ILLEGAL!!!
