Landscaping was amazing. Extremely natural and very fast. We have had at least 20 neighbors ask for his contact info and compliment his work profusely. Corey has a great design mind and also employees firefighters on their down time so they can make additional money. I'm very pleased that our firemen have a chance to earn additional income. Had an issue where a tree in one bed leaned over due to high wind this spring. They immediately showed up and staked it to fix. As stated above, he has worked diligently to make sure that he can monitor the pool install, installed boulders for natural seating around where the pool deck concrete will be poured, and came out several times to make sure his new plans will correctly place screening beds where they are needed. Corey has honestly become more of a friend than a contractor. They are extremely polite and professional. I've only spoken with one other landscaper that I liked after contacting about 12 prior to the initial job. However, I will NOT be using anyone except for Corey during the rest of the 5-6 projects we have scheduled. We will be using him shortly for several new beds, flagstone walkways, rock borders around pool and future retaining walls.

I contacted Cory to help fix my backyard. We had 7 trees removed from a very small space, the grass was dead. Cory and his crew removed one large stump the tree company did not pull up, filled in the hole, seeded, fertilized and brought my yard back to live. It is beautiful. In the beginning, he sent me a 9 page document outlining exactly what they would be doing and when, as the treatments for the yard would be by season. Anytime my husband and I were not sure about the results Cory would personally come over, talk with us, and fix it. I would highly recommend this company as they do great work and stand behind it.

This past spring, my husband and I purchased a Get My Perks: KC deal from Silver Leaf Lawn and Landscape for a 6-step Lawn Treatment Program for the year. We really hoped to bring some curb appeal to our lack-luster lawn.
I was contacted by Corey from Canyon Creek to make an appointment for my first service. I was confused by the company name. After all, I had hired Silver Leaf for the services. It was explained to me that Silver Leaf contracted the work out to Canyon Creek stating that they were the company that covered our area.
I asked Corey if I could hire his company to mow my yard on a regular schedule. He reluctantly agreed, stating that his company doesn’t really have any other clients in this area, but that, for $34 a week, he would do it. Even though that was a bit pricey, I agreed, with the expectation that a professional lawn company would take good care of my lawn.
The mowing was mediocre at best. There seemed to be no care taken for trimming around a tree stump and the edges of my yard.
We have a flower plot on the front of my house that we’re trying to get to go to grass. The mowers never bothered to trim the grass and weeds that were growing in it; I had to call and specifically request this.
Invoices were not sent out on a regular schedule, but seemed to be an afterthought for when there was time to do it. This led to a couple of fairly large bills as Canyon Creek caught my billing up for the previous month. I also received a bill for weekly mowings
after Corey and I had agreed to move our schedule to a bi-weekly mow.
I really am not certain how many of the services from my purchase were actually performed at my residence, as I was not notified of when they took place. I do see two of those services on two invoices, but the rest seem to be missing in my billing.
All in all, I’m disappointed with the care (or lack of) that Canyon Creek took of my lawn. My lawn looked good for a few weeks this summer, but is now looking just as sad as it did prior to Corey and company being hired. I am also very disappointed in the lack of professionalism in both their communications and billing. I would not hire this company, nor Silver Leaf again.
