Amazing Windows

We purchased the windows on November 16 and were told they'd try really hard to get them in before Christmas. I called Thanksgiving week because no one had made the final measurements! Someone came out and measured and then ordered them -- I was told again that they would probably be ready before Christmas. Then, a long long silence. I finally called shortly before Christmas and was told it would be after Christmas (yes, I guessed that), but that we would still be eligible for the energy-saving rebate (wrong, wrong, wrong). Took them a while to get the stain on the inside of the windows, and then we were told that one window arrived broken and would have to be reordered. Again, a long wait. I was called last week and told the installer would come out Monday -- then I took a call requesting the installer come last Saturday. I said we would be out of town. Maybe Sunday. No call. Sunday afternoon, there is a knock on my door and it is the installer, unannounced. It's only fair to say that the installer came regularly and worked hard. The installation is beautiful, corners mitered, everything fully insulated, and cleanup is complete. However, the man in charge was less than helpful and did not bother to communicate very well. I would be happy to work with this installer (Dennis Riquelme) again, but this company was very unprofessional.
