Precision Hardwood Floors

Chris and his team are true craftsman. Everyone who worked on our floors was very polite and friendly. We were remodelling our first floor and after a big box store left us high and dry on our flooring installation. Chris was able to come in and install hardwood floors very quickly. When he gave the estimate he explained the process and pointed out the advantages of hardwood flooring over our original choice, luxury vinyl plank, but he never tried to "sell" us on upgrading to the hardwood flooring. In fact he offered to install LVP if we wanted to. They took very good care to make sure everything was well protected and minimize any dust. He was very responsive when we had questions and kept us updated on when his team would be there working. They even came on a Saturday and Sunday to do work so they wouldn't hold up the rest of our remodelling. The new floors look awesome and I would definitely reccommend Precision Hardwood Floors to anyone looking for new hardwood floors or to refinish existing hardwood floors.

Precision Hardwood Floors refinished the floors on the entire main level of our home (1/19) Floors were 20 years old and definitely in need of some work! The owner (Chris) was very responsive and easy to work with. He came to our home the same day I requested the quote and was very knowledgeable. His crew showed up exactly when expected and finished the project on time. The finished product was beautiful and the price was very competitive. Chris and his team were courteous and professional and easy to communicate with. I would definitely hire them again for any future hardwood flooring needs.

We just had the best experience with Percision Hardwoods. We had floors buckling in our kitchen - Chris and his team laced new hardwood boards PERFECTLY, refinished the entire first floor, and I couldn’t be happier! They were incredibly professional, and CLEAN! I can’t stress enough how well they treated our home during the process! I will recommend Chris and his team to all of my friends!

The process was great!!! Mr. Barbosa has his own crew; those who install and those who sand and stain. Mr. Barbosa and his crew are very professional and hard working. They come in and work until finished. When we first called for bids, we called three companies. All three were off of Angie's List. Mr. Barbosa returned the telephone call within three (3) minutes! He then was at our front door within 30 minutes, and this was on a Saturday afternoon!!! The other two did not return phone calls that day. One didn't return a phone call for two weeks!!! Mr. Barbosa is very honest and knows his business well! The ONLY thing we had to wait on was the wood that had been ordered. That had nothing to do with Mr. Barbosa and his company. As soon as the wood was in, Mr. Barbosa had his crew pick it up and we were underway. We not only recommend Precision Hardwood Floors, but we will use him again! We couldn't be any happier with our new floors! Everyone who sees them has raved how great they look! The upkeep is a breeze and we do not miss the carpeting!

They were very responsive From the beginning. It took one guy few hours to strip and putty the floors the first day. The next day two guys came and prepped the floors and stained it. Then it took one day per coat of polyurethane. We had three coats. They also left me some extra stain so I can use it for my stairs and rails.

Chris and his team did a great job. My old golden-toned red oak floors are now a beautiful dark walnut. Very up to date for less than half the cost of new! He custom mixed two colors to get the exact look I wanted. He was punctual, returned all my messages and completed the job on time. He even went above and beyond to help me move some heavy things out of the way. Very nice guy and I would highly recommend Precision Hardwood Floors.

Owner Chris Barbosa and his company were recommended by a neighbor in Waldo. We were very pleased with him and his company. After selling our primary residence, the plan was to move into a rental house we own. We were under a time crunch to get the floors done between the time our tenants moved out and the time we closed on our house. Chris came over the same day I called him and gave me a quote. I know this is bad comparison shopping, but I went with his quote without waiting on others. Nobody else called me back, so I didn't have much of a choice, and I think Chris' bid would have been right in the ballpark if not lower than competitors anyway. Plus, did I say that he called me back! Chris was amazing at being thorough and honest about the floors we were having done. Our former tenants had a dog and a big chuck of the living room was too damaged to sand out and the entire den was too wet and damaged to sand and finish. Our decision was to replace the damaged part of the floor in the living room ourselves (my husband is a carpenter) and just to wait a few months to see if the den floors dry out. With that decision made, the job begun. Even though Chris had personal obligations out of town from the get-go on this project, I felt like his supervisor who handled the job did a good job, although there was a little language barrier between him and me. Plus, several times Chris actually called me from where he was visiting family out-of-the country just to answer my questions. Very impressive! So, overall I am very happy and will use him again. If I have one complaint, it is that I did not understand that you couldn't put rugs down for at least three weeks. Somehow that got lost in translation and now, we have to get some movers over to take three rugs up and put down felt pieces under the furniture. This is an added expense I wasn't counting on. My advice to him would be to hand customers a brochure or something after the job on and quot;what to do nowand quot; and and quot;how to care for your floors.and quot;

Chris was fantastic from the moment he came to give me a bid. He was responsive and quick throughout the entire process. I really appreciated his concern for providing me with a beautiful end product. We installed hardwoods in rooms that connected existing hardwoods and refinished it all to match. He was very attentive to how best to match up the old and new floors. He talked me through options, was very willing to give his opinion when I asked, and was very accommodating when I didn't follow his advice. A conscientious, humble man. Chris's crews do him credit, too, and it seemed they also had a pride in their work. They were very attentive to detail and hardworking (plus, they had a cheerful disposition - nothing worse than a surly contractor in your home). When we called Chris, we knew only that we would refinish our existing floors, but I hoped we'd be able to add the new hardwoods. Chris's bid sealed it for us. Better than the other bids we received and doable in our entire flooring budget. We couldn't be more pleased. My parents were pleased, too, and immediately had Chris and his crew refinish the hardwoods in their century old home. He didn't have many Angie's List reviews (though he did supply a number of references for us), so I wondered if maybe he was a gamble. We're so glad we went with Chris and Precision Hardwood Floors.

We decided to keep our carpet and to delay the refinishing of our hard wood floors for now. In the future, I would contact this company to do the job.

The crew arrived on the day promised at 8 am and immediately removed the old carpeting and pad. The floors were then sanded, dust removed etc. and first coat of finish was applied. The other two coats were applied on the second and third days and the quarter round was installed. I had no idea that my floors could be this beautiful and I am so proud of the! Having never had hardwood floors, Chris the owner, gave me excellent advice on the care and upkeep of them etc. I do intend to use him again to refinish the floors in my bedroom. I do highly recommend this company in all areas.
