Horrible customer service and experience if you aren't spending $2K! We used to be fans of this store back in the day. We ordered a larger tank from here and the plan was they will set it up And keep it running for 3weeks( for a hefty cost), so it is ready and safe for fish to stay in. Then at the end of the 3 weeks, we were going to bring our son in and let him pick his fish and take them home right away! Well we arrived 3 weeks later on my son's bday for his surprise present(a big tank with fish he would pick)... but come to find out- no tank was wet up- it was sitting right there by the front with our names on it. When asked what happened, I was told they "missed" it and I asked why I didn't get a call - no response. We still took the tank home with all our disappointment as it was my son's main bday present . I understand things happen but to not call and knowing I spent over $600 on them!! On top of it, when we ordered the tank, we ordered a lid- which hasn't arrived 1.5 mos later still. We still took it home and came back two weeks later to get the fish- we were sold one - again no lid- and were told this doesn't jump, well it did: i called no refund. We had a small snail in it that died too as he wondered off without a lid. Also not to mention, when we took the tank home - we were sent with a faulty filter and had to go back in a week later to get a different one. Disappointed at their customer service and we will not be returning . I believe they only pay importance to people that spend a lot of $$$ here. Good luck sustaining your business without having the basic customer courtesy !

They have a beautiful shop, with lots of very nice items. It is very expensive, and well above similar prices at larger stores. Some of their items are very custom, and probably more in line with other custom tanks. As far as the fish prices, they were very expensive, and they didn't look to be any healthier than the larger chain stores. I was a little disappointed to see that as far as fresh water goes, they don't have a very large selection, and what they do have is mostly common fish that i can find other places. It was lovely to visit, but I probably won't go back very often.

Picasso Exotic Aquatics are excellent. Their price and quality is good. I will use them again.
