KANSAS CITY TITLE CO

I will never use Kansas City Title Co again. Our agent called to make an appointment for us to complete our closing at their location. She called back earlier that week to confirm. When we arrived, we were told we didn't have an appointment. Since they weren't actually drafting the closing documents (our mortgage company did that) they canceled our appointment without our knowledge. The staff was VERY rude, and Kathy told us in no uncertain terms that no one would be staying past 5 pm for us and coolly told us we could use their conference room if we made if fast. She made what was to be a very happy moment for us a bit sour. Per my real estate agent, they were not that easy to work with before that meeting.

The work was completed, but not in a timely fashion. The closers were more concerned with leaving early on a Friday, than the completion this job. The customer service was mediocre at best. I, the seller who was paying them, was asked to do some of their leg work and make phone calls they should have made. I would not use this title company again.
