All the work done for us by Blue Valley Tree has been excellent. The crews do a great job and clean up after the project is completed. We were kept well informed of scheduling and cost.

Really appreciated Dave and his crew. They were very professional. He also gave me some tips and pointers on other trees in our yard (even the ones we weren't having work done on). Thank You!

From start to finish, they were professional, prompt and efficient. The overall cost was incredibly reasonable - we had other quotes from a few other companies that were double this quote.
These guys know what they're doing! They showed up on time and worked quickly to get our trees into great shape. We had just moved in and the trees needed work desperately. The amount of light we have in our backyard now is lending itself well to grass growth! They went above and beyond and we'd recommend them to anyone.

Dave and his team have done several tree removal and pruning jobs for us.  His prices are always fair and the work is excellent.  We have recommended him to neighbors.  Very pleased with his work!

They did a very nice job--tree was down in less than an hour.  Dave and I had a bit of a mix up on the scheduling of the look-see/price estimate, but once he arrived he was very professional. We had used his company a couple of years ago to take out a large tree in our back yard near power lines and a heavily landscaped section of the yard, and they were very careful not to damage anything.  This site was easy--15 feet from the curb on a flat lot, no power lines, etc.  The crew made sure not to drop any of the trunks directly onto the ground (it had been pretty wet and we didn't want a dent in the yard) and did an especially good job of grinding out the stump and big roots.  

The team was very professional and completed all this work in less than 2 hours.EXCELLENT service. I would recommend them to anyone, In fact  already have to 3 different people.

Our magnolia tree was growing too close to the house. Dave and his crew trimmed it back, shaped it up and lifted it. They also removed the stump of a dead tree and a small pile of branches I had collected. It wasn't a big job, and they fit it in when they had other work nearby. They left our back patio cleaner than they found it. Dave also provided some advice about dealing with the power company and helped me understand who has responsibility for which trees. Excellent service.

Very nice job. Tight location with a lot of landscaping, fencing, etc. and near the power lines. Showed up on the scheduled day as weather had cooperated before our job; showed up on time as well. Dave had the crew carry branches rather than drag them so they didn't damage nearby plantings. Nice job on trimming the oak too-just wanted dead branches removed since we had had it trimmed just a couple of years earlier. Only damage was from the stump remover, who came after a big rain and his machine damaged the lawn a bit on its way to the site.

We called for an estimate on cutting down 4 large trees and trimming a few others. Dave came out and gave us a quick estimate in writing for the proposed work. He provided us with his certificate of insurance prior to doing the work. His crew came on the day as promised and wasted no time getting started. . The crew performed the work with precision and completely raked and cleaned up all the debris. Dave is honest and straightforward. I will definitely use Blue Valley Tree Care again in the future to trim and care for our trees.

I called them to give me an estimate and they came the next day. We walked thru the yard discussing the various trees that needed trimming, some were quite tall. The bid was remarkably reasonable. One week from bid date, a crew of 4 arrived and within 1 1/2 hours they were finished. The crew was fast and neat. I would never hesitate to call them again, and would highly recommend them. Their bid was $800 less that the other bid I received!

Dave's team did a good job removing our tree and even took some of our yard waste to dispose of it for us. There was some confusion between Dave and his employee about doing the line clearance, so they had to come back the next day to do that - but Dave was very quick to apologize about the mix-up and it was taken care of promptly the next morning.

As usual, the brush cutting, chipping and removal went very well. But, Dave is good at lots of things, and we always call him first. Earlier this year, he worked diligently to trap a sickly fox who had attacked our dog very badly, after our efforts to deter the fox had failed. The fox was tricky to trap, because it was diseased and didn't respond to the usual lures. But, Dave kept at it and caught it. Neither of these are the most complicated things he has done for us, though. We've used his service for three years, now, for huge jobs to small ones. I trust him to handle everything while I'm at work, including adjusting our design choices along the way for the best result (*only because we have said this is OK*). We have a small acreage with woods, surrounded on all sides with brush, and he respects the natural look of the property -- no "lollipop" trees or "meatloaf" bushes. Now that I'm familiar with his good taste in design, I ask him what to do to solve a problem in an aesthetically pleasing way, rather than tell him what to trim up / take out and how. He won't press with his own design ideas, so little you might not catch it, but I recommend asking him. He's a Certified Arborist (I didn't know that, but my husband told me just now), so perhaps that explains some of it, but I think he just has a good eye for things. When we've had unhealthy trees, Dave has never sold us a bunch of futile treatments for his own profit -- when something's a goner, he's told us as much. We've recommended him to friends, and they have been happy with him as well.

I would trust them with anything - I wish they did more kinds of jobs, because they were inexpensive and perfect! I've been asked for hundreds more for the same thing they did for what I thought was little $ compared to the others!!!!!
