Hired to AFP to install 2 toilets in remodeled home which was being sold and inspected for final sale. Came in house the day of inspection and found both toilets leaking through 2 different ceilings doing thousands of dollars in damage. Lost sale of home and incurred a loss $15000 in final sale of home to different buyer. Affordable Plumbing owner refused to except responsibility for the damages and stormed out of home. If you are willing to take a chance on this company destroying your home then hire them but don’t be surprised that they don’t back up their work.

I highly recommend Affordable Plumbing & Sewer! I did receive lower bids for the repair, but after talking with Rick, I could tell he had the best understanding of what it would really take to get the job done. Rick worked diligently to finish the repair within a tight timeline. He and his crew did an excellent job every step of the way and the final cost matched his original estimate. Penny in the office was very helpful as well! The next time I need anything plumbing or sewer related, I won't bother calling anyone else. Affordable Plumbing & Sewer has earned my complete trust and confidence!

Good and bad. Good price, but once they get you, the owner is very unprofessional. Shows up whenever he feels like it. He was rude and unreliable, but the prices were good. He promised to complete the job during the week, because I was moving in on the weekend. Yet he never came, never returned my calls, and never told me when he could reschedule. He showed up on Sunday, unscheduled. I asked why he was just showing up now, he yelled at me in front of all the movers, in my own home.

I contacted Affordable Plumbing & Sewer as I was wanting to obtain a few bids for the job after another company failed to contact me back with a question I had regarding their proposal submitted. I found from the initial phone call to the end of the project highly satisfying. Rick Ramsey, the owner of the company performed the service exceptionally well! Rick kept me updated on what his initial assessment was and as the dig progressed in my yard as to his findings. Rick is very personable to talk to and I enjoyed the fact he was highly recommended for the service I needed. Rick's bid on my project was HALF the price of the first bid I obtained and I now have changed companies who I will contact for any future plumbing needs to Affordable Plumbing & Sewer!!! Rick even gave me a warranty on his work!! My actual grade for Rick's work would be an A++++ if I could actually rank it that high!! Thank you Rick for your service!!!! You are AMAZING!! :-)

We had a leak that we couldn't identify, and the water flow was inconsistent. Rick fit us in at the end of the day and took care of the problem at a very reasonable rate. He was kind when we were in a pinch, and we are grateful for his help!

They were able to identify that the water line had become calcified in an area and it was plugging the water line. They fixed the water line and tied it directly into the humidifier and now it works great. The bottom line is Rick and his team know what they're doing when it comes to HVAC and plumbing. You can see my other review here about the sewer line replacement he did for us previously. 

OMG - Feliziano was so amazing. He was on time, he worked quickly, and cleaned up after himself. He was so friendly and explained everything very clearly. I DO need to replace my AC unit and I plan to use this company. I can't imagine this having gone any better.

Let me share a story about my experience with Rick Ramsey of Affordable Plumbing & Sewer.
First, a little background...
My wife and I came home one day to a foul smell in our house. Long story short, I went downstairs to find our sump pump full of water/sewage and it was STEAMING. I ended up finding out that our sump pump motor had stopped working, but was still on and it was heating the water. You can imagine how fun it was using a ShopVac to clean up that mess. 
Anyway, I ended up having another company (I wish I would have found Rick earlier) replace the sump pump motors in both of our sump pump pits. I then had the sewer line camera'd (I used a great company for this...again, before I found Rick as he does this too) and they basically told me that we had cracks in pipes from both of the stacks in our house.
And now the hunt for a quality sewer line replacement company in Kansas City began. I talked to the guys that installed the sump pumps, but wasn't confident in their abilities and just didn't have a good feel for them. I looked on Angie's List and contacted one of the companies, who came out and told me what they thought needed to be done. But when I got the quote, it was extremely high. I replied back to them and said "I'm not going to pay several mortgage payments to have this done."
So again I did a Google Search and that's when I came across Rick Ramsey and Affordable Plumbing and Sewer. I called Rick and told him what was going on. He came out that night (around 6:30 p.m.) and walked through the situation with me. He told me what needed to be done and how he thought it would work. He later sent me a proposal and I agreed to move forward. 
Rick initially thought it would take a day to get the work done, but as can happen with projects of this scope, it ended up taking longer (but he didn't increase the price as his proposal included a fixed price for labor and materials...something he advised me to request no matter who I hired to do the work). 
Rick was at our house for a couple of days and jackhammered up the floor in a few spots, replaced two stretches of sewer line from two different stacks in our house, replaced the kitchen drain line (which we also found out had cracks in it), removed all of the concrete and debris (and believe me...there was a TON of it), cleaned out our sewer line all the way to the city main (and brought back some tree roots with it), and installed two new toilets that we purchased. 
Rick also educated me on how the plumbing industry works in Kansas City and, frankly, it made me sick to my stomach. Needless to say, there are a lot of consumers getting screwed by two-bit plumbers and also companies that spend thousands of dollars to market on the radio and tv every month. 
I was dreading (literally almost sick to my stomach) this project before it started...just imagining having my basement floor torn up, dust everywhere throughout our house from the jackhammering, etc, etc....and in the end I'm so very thankful I found Rick because he did quality work for a quality price. On top of it all, I felt like he was honest with me throughout the process...and that's something that isn't common in his industry. 
I highly recommend Rick Ramsey and Affordable Plumbing and Sewer if you ever have plumbing needs. And I hope you never have to go through sewer line replacement like I did, but if you do, Rick is the guy to call.
