Excellent, helpful crew! Very willing to move anything to exactly where I wanted it.

Overall, they did a pretty good job. The guys that were unloading broke an item and it was a piece of glass that they had wrapped for like a TV stand. There was no way to replace it. When I called about what they were going to do, the guy never called me back. I just thought of having to buy a whole new TV stand. I wasn't mad. It would probably have been an A but I didn't feel like they communicated very well after pact. Some of the people were A in professionalism.

They did a great job!  They were the cheapest provider I looked at, they came when they said they would, everything arrived at my new home when it was supposed to, and I was very pleased the service.

I had them and a couple of other companies come out and give me an estimate on what it would cost to move our things from Kansas City, Mo. to Olathe, Ks., as well as hold them in storage for about a week.  Jim came out gave an estimate, as well as explained what they would do to protect the floors and walls.  He also looked at our storage unit and included it in the estimate. None of the representatives from the other moving companies looked at our storage unit or explained how they would protect our floors and walls.  They just asked how big it was and used that for their estimate.  Their crew arrived at the old house at the appointed time and went right to work.  They laid down protective mats on the floors, as well as plastic sheeting, and went right to work numbering and loading our things.  
After closing on the new house, we called them and they gave us a time when they should be there.  They arrived on time and went right to work.  Again, they put down protective blankets, plastic sheeting, and wrapped the front door jam, to protect it.  They then went right to work unloading our things, placing them in the rooms we designated.  

It went great from start to finish.  They worked with me on the price.

Professional, thorough, accurate when giving estimate, rates very competitive.  They explained how everything worked right up front and didn't make changes later.  Always courteous on the phone and were available to answer questions or returned calls promptly.  They brought us boxes, packing material and time ahead of time so we could partially pack ourselves and reduce the cost. On moving day, the crew arrived on time, with plenty of people to finish the job on time.  (That was a problem on our last move, with a different company.)  Everyone was cheerful and hard-working.  All boxes were well-packed and well-marked, nothing broken. Packout was on Tuesday, and we were expecting delivery on Thursday (160 miles away).  However, we learned at the last minute that delivery would be delayed until Saturday.  This caused some inconvenience, but we were able to adjust. Delivery occurred without incident.  No damage to goods or apartment. Friendly, prompt, courteous service.  No extra/hidden costs.  Despite the small issue with the delivery date, this was the most trouble-free of our six moves so far.  I will definitely call Arpin the next time! 

Studdard Transfer was contracted by a company we used in California to box up and deliver remaining household items from our deceased parent's storage unit. We did not contract with Studdard Transfer ourselves. However, we were pleased Studdard was selected by the CA company to deliver 35 boxes of our mother's things and family heirlooms, etc. They called to set up a delivery date and time, and called a second time to confirm. They also called the morning of delivery to say they would be here within 30 minutes. They were very friendly and professional. They used carpet protectors (tarp and plastic). I showed them where the boxes should go and they gave me the original inventory sheet used by the California company to check off all the numbered boxes as they were brought into the house. They asked me if I wanted them to open any of the boxes or otherwise help with unloading. They were efficient and clean. I will contact the California moving company to let them know their subcontractor did a nice job delivering the items.

From initial contact with estimator to packing, loading, delivery of items this was an excellent move.  I have moved approximately 12 times and this was, hands down, the best move we have had.  All personnel were professional, courteous and genuinely had our interests in mind.  The company worked with us to accomodate our pickup and delivery dates even though a change of delivery dates had to be made.

They charged about $200 to pack and move it to storage and $450 a month to store. I liked them. I thought that they were very good. They were very professional. They did what they said they were going to do. They actually overbid and the actual cost was less than they thought it would be. So, it has all been very good so far, and we are very pleased with them. In fact, we are thinking of having the same driver and some of the crew to come along to deliver the stuff from Kansas City to Atlanta because they were so good in their work.

Overall, the experience was positive. I did have a couple of items broken, but they did make that problem right. They actually came out to my home initially to see what I have and to provide a good bid. I was satisfied with them.

WE HAVE USED THEM TWICE, AND BOTH TIMES THEY HAVE ARRIVED EXACTLY WHEN SCHEDULED. THE EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY, COOPERATIVE, AND REALLY KNEW HOW TO HANDLE, BIG, HEAVY FURNITURE CAREFULLY. THEY DID NOT DAMAGE ANY OF THE FURNITURE NOR THE PAINT JOB. IN EACH CASE WE HIRED THEM FOR A FOUR HOUR MINIMUM, BUT THEY DID THE WORK IN A MUCH SHORTER TIME THAN WE EXPECTED.
