computer sales
 + -1 moreThe change caused the computer after going to sleep to not wake up. Constant rebooting when this occurred. I had to have it for business until the December holiday break. They diagnosed and said to bring it in January and they would reinstall the OS. Another week without it. The problem increased. The next step they took was to say that there is some incompatibility between some files and the OS. They couldn't find out which one. So they put the OS on one hard drive and my files on a separate one. No improvement. A friend with degree in engineering and computer buff made some changes and put it all back together and most of the problems are gone. They recently called to ask how it was going and my husband answered and said not too well. They asked me to call but I didn't because I don't think they can help. They've had it off and on for 6 months and that's it.
Description of Work: I asked for XP OS to be changed to Windows 7 last Sept and have had puzzling issues with it going dead since then. My evaluation of their performance is that they can do some simple things well but not anything of great difficulty. I had a friend do better work by changing drivers and a few other things recently. It's now something I can live with. I've already spent too much money. I can't spend any more.
