I have used Pawsh Wash's do-it-yourself dog bathing tubs before - which are excellent - but this is the first time I have tried their full grooming service. I didn't go in with the idea of having a fancy show cut though. I asked them to shave her down and leave some whiskers, long hair on ears and some fluff on the end of her tail. They did exactly what I asked. I am very pleased and now have an appointment to take my other dog in for grooming.

I especially liked dropping her off and being able to pick her up in an hour rather than having her languish in a crate all day.

My dog, a golden retriever, came out injured and in distress.  He was so uncomfortable I took him to the Vet, who said that the dog had razor burn on his s****** from the grooming.  I had to treat him with antibacterial and steroid ointments.
I reported this incident, and the owner said they would take responsibility.  I asked that the vet bil be covered, as well as the cost of the grooming.  I was refunded the cost of the grooming quickly, but it took a while to get the refund for the Vet bill, and I had to call back inquire about it.  They seemed reluctant to cover the vet bill due to the injury, but eventually did refund it.

We have tried many other dog grooming businesses in Lawrence. One kept our dog for 8+ hours. We and he were exhausted. Another with many awards for dog grooming, took 4 to 5 hrs. Another "scissor cuts" and takes a very long time and your buddy doesn't look great. When Pawsh Wash tells you an hour to an hour and 1/2, you think in the back of your mind, really? But yes! Really! The groomer meets with you one on one, asking how you want your pal to look and the whole time is petting and getting to know your dog. Our dog walked away with her like she was an old friend. She groomed him just like we asked and was done in just over an hour. We got a "report" telling us how our buddy did and what she found while grooming floppy ears, etc. "A wiggly super-star" was her verdict. I saw some folks on Angie "complain" about the price here. Here is my take: You've been blessed enough never to have gone to other groomers in Lawrence. The other guys are just as high or higher and you go through misery and end up with a dog that doesn't look anything like you asked. Pawsh Wash rocks!

Mostly very good. Probably needed a bit more brushing, but that is always subjective when it comes to dogs with a thick coat of fur.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
They are large enough and well staffed enough to accommodate walk in traffic as well as appointments.
Our groomer was friendly and tried her best to make my dog feel comfortable.
Service was efficient and very professional.
They offered a wide range of grooming services and an array of pet products in the store.

They use tender care. They really are wonderful. They were professional and my dogs smelled beautiful when I took them home.
