Having had a considerable experience working with some very good general contractors as we have moved throughout the country over the years, I believe that I can say that Myers Construction easily ranks among the best.  The quality of everything that was done was excellent.  It was all meticulously overseen by James Myers but his team and his subs were great.  We came into the process with very compressed timeframes due to the end of year holidays and the delivery date of our home goods by the movers.  The Myers team did everything that promised and hit nearly every commitment that James made at the outset.  The only ones missed were those we agreed to push out. 

I judge the success of every remodel we have done on whether we had it completed on time and on budget allowing for unforeseen items and changes to the work initially defined.  With James and his team, I was never surprised with either.  I knew well ahead of any major decision point what was coming and why.  Just as importantly, my wife and I were able to rely on James' "eye" for the highest quality work product from his team.  Several times I witnessed his "getting his hands dirty" to show a team member or sub what he expected and how he expected to be done.

As part of our due diligence, we spoke to several other clients and even visited one of his ground up, new home spec-build.  Excellent reviews all around and the house we visited was done with a commitment to quality throughout.
