Patrick Smith is the real deal. I fell in love with a house that had been under contract a few months prior but fell through (for what I was told was a funding issue). My husband said we didn’t need to pay for another inspection since the one from a month earlier was still good. But I found great reviews for MHI so I asked them to come take a look. Mr Smith found sneaky wood rot BEHIND most of the siding that would cost $20k to repair. (The other inspection report said it was only a couple boards rotted and the listing agent said the repairs were made.) I’m glad I got my own inspection and I’m REALLY glad I hired McKinney Home Inspections! I’ll hire Mr. Smith again and again until I find our perfect home.

Did a thorough inspection of the roof, atick, house, basement, structures, equipment, fuses, etc. Even noticed a termite track. Provided a thorough report by the end of the day with suggestions.

They were very professional, polite, and showed up 10 minutes early for the appt. He explained everything they were going to do in the inspection and took the time to answer all of my questions. They were very thorough and provided a detailed professional report the same day. I would highly recommend this company. All customer related businesses should conduct their business with this level of professionalism and integrity that this company does.

He's punctual and very professional in his manner. The home inspection took about 2.5 hrs and he came a few days before to install the radon machine then explained to us about the result. He answered my questions and give out tips to a new homeowner like me. He sent the report the same day.
