Fast.  Easy.  out in 20 minutes.
Wanted to point out that staff there probably saved my dog's life at Thanksgiving.  My animal was feeling poorly and Dr. Anna recommended she go to K-State because tests at LVH were not conclusive.  We went immediately, and emergency surgery was performed that night!  My dog spent a week in ICU following surgery, and Anna followed up on her every day with me.  She is still recovering, and fortunately she can see Dr. Anna and Dr. Jim.

Took my middle-aged sheltie in because she was not eating and having
diarrhea. Initial diagnosis was ulcerated stomach caused by regular
dosing of rimadyl for arthritis. However, after just a few days (like
the weekend) the vet ran more blood tests and determined she had
autoimmune hemolytic disease, requiring a transfusion and
immunosuppressors. The vet brought his own dog in for the transfusion
and stayed late with her to make sure the transfusion was done
properly. He called me every few hours with an update on her
condition. Even after she came home, he checked in at least once daily
to make sure she was progressing. When her white count went up (as he
thought it would, post-transfusion) he administered a shot of an
antibiotic and prescribed one to start giving her at home. As gently as
he could, he told me at the time of the transfusion that it might not
help. Luckily, it did, and she is on the road to a complete recovery.
It has been very expensive, but probably not more expensive than others
spend in similar circumstances, considering several blood panels,
prescriptions, the transfusion (nearly $500 right there) and overnight
hospital stays have been involved. I especially appreciate Jim's focus
on Mavis and his obvious concern for her. In the midst of all this,
one vet who had worked with him for several years left and a new one
came on board. His staff (especially Shelly, Rihanna, Jerilyn, and
Wendy) has been quite involved, caring, and considerate. Great folks,
one and all.

They provided great service, and they know my dog very well. They treat the dog like he's one of their own. They keep up on his primitive care.

They are very friendly. Because the vet is a k-state graduate, he has k-state students come in and work over the weekend, and they really pamper the pets.

We boarded our dog there one weekend while we were out of town and it was a horrible experience. We picked up the dog around 8:30 am on a Monday. She had not yet been fed or taken out. She came home with fleas. I had to negotiate with the office that they should provide us with a complimentary type of treatment to get rid of the fleas since she got them at their facility under their care. They reluctanty decided to give me the service. We also had dropped off wet dog food to go with our dogs dry dog food and the wet food was never opened. They did not even feed our dog per our request.
