When I first signed up, everything was great. I picked up the PepWave, and was told that I'd own the device after paying a year's worth of monthly payments on it. The experience went downhill from there. The internet signal was extremely weak, and often times went down for days on end. It was all but useless to me. To make matters worse, customer service is beyond terrible at Freenet. I'd call throughout the day for a week, and no one would answer or return my calls. When I finally would get ahold of someone, it would be a couple of 19 year old p*** boys with zero customer respect running the operation. They would basically refuse to resolve my problems. I've been calling all week in order to end my service. When I finally reached someone, I was told that I had to return the PepWave a week ahead of my next billing period or I'd be charged another month. So basically, I have to pay for a week that I can't use...for no good reason. Maddening. Also, they changed their mind about the PepWave and said that I could not keep it, even though I paid for it. I'm quite frustrated, and it seems I have no recourse. Highly disappointing.
