Brett came by to measure the shower stall. He was meticulous, and explained to me how best to remove the existing shower doors. I received the estimate the next week. The door was in a week later. I received a call on Friday morning, and Brett asked if I wanted the doors installed that afternoon. I explained that I had not yet removed the existing doors, and he said they could do it for no extra charge, which was unexpected and nice. The installer was there for two hours.

Kennedy glass was excellent. We didn't realize that they weren't just for GLASS, but that they repaired window mechanisms, etc. We'd gotten a quote from another company who said that it would take a couple of days to get a part, and they would have to take our entire window apart, and it would cost several hundred dollars. Another company (a handyman, actually) wasn't comfortable trying to fix it because he was afraid he would break the glass. In all, 3 other people had looked at it, and nobody seemed sure of what it would take to fix, or they just didn't have the proper experience and expertise.  So I called Kennedy Glass, thinking that they might know someone else who they could refer us to. They said that they might be able to fix it themselves, and that they'd send someone out to take a look.

They sent Jacob, who arrived right on time. When I told him that the window manufacturer was out of business, he immediately said "Shelter Windows", as he was familiar with the situation, and said there were lots of houses in our neighborhood with that brand of window. After less than 5 minutes, he was able to assess the problem and he knew the solution. He explained that in the particular area (the track), parts were pretty standard, so it wouldn't be a problem to get a part. He said that one of the metal parts, coated in plastic, had it's plastic worn off which is why it wasn't working anymore. He had the part on his truck! So he went out, got it, put a ladder up outside, and installed the new part. He then came back inside and closed the window. It's fixed! The entire process took about 30 minutes. He also explained some basic information to us about how the gasket and buttons on the window would make it easy to replace the glass if we ever needed to do that.

For the cost of a service call and inexpensive part, we had this taken care of by an efficient, courteous, and friendly employee from Kennedy Glass. I've already told our neighbors (who have Shelter Windows as well), and will be sure to spread the word. Thank you, Kennedy Glass!

They removed the door and ordered replacement glass. Called when the glass arrived and I returned and they installed the glass.

They did a good job. Our experience with them has been very good. They were able to come out right away the same day. They did a good job at reasonable charges. With regard to punctuality, they weren't sure if they would be able to get out; they came anyway because it was really busy that day.

The process went smoothly from first contact to completion of project.

They are a local company. I haven?t had any problems with the windows that they did repair. So I have had a good experience with them. I like the quality of their work. There were other companies who tried multiple times to fix the windows that were installed incorrectly, but these guys quickly assessed that the window was incorrectly installed. They put the proper parts to fix the window. They did it in one day and I haven?t had any problems since then. They provide excellent service. The work is top quality. It?s a little tough to schedule them, but that?s because they are very busy. So I like them. I thought that their price was a little high, but that was compared to the company that did a horrible job. So I feel that the price was worth for what I paid since they got the job done. I don?t know what the price might be compared to other companies. They may be a little high, but it?s worth. The quality of their work is excellent.
