I've used Haley Pest Control for the past few years to treat for an annual ant issue. They only have to come out once and I don't see any ants for the rest of the year, so worth every penny. The service folks I've met have all been friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to answer any questions I have about the treatment and things I can do to mitigate bugs in my house. I saw ants yesterday, called them this morning, and due to a cancellation they were able to come out today. Very happy with them.

I was noticing mouse droppings in some of my kitchen drawers and the counter so I called Haley's Pest. The technician was on time and very efficient in placing the bait stations. Since they have been installed I have not seen any droppings. Very pleased with the service and the lady on the phone. I have talked to them before about doing my pest service for termites and spiders and I am planning on using them once my contract with my current company expires. Very friendly and helpful people.

First I want to say the gentleman (Matt? - he is the one that got the A's) that came to the house was professional and knowledgeable. He was even able to come earlier than expected! The experience was Excellent UNTILL I called to pay my bill. I had gone to their site after seeing reviews on this site. They had a $10 off coupon, I printed it and told them about it when I called to get them out here. They were able to come out the very same day! I was at work when they came out (boyfriend was home) he gave Matt the coupon and on the invoice Matt had marked the discounted price of $125.88 ($135.88-10.00). I was able to get home before they closed :) so was able to pay my bill that same night. Called them, said I wanted to pay, and this person (different from one that answered in morning) said several times during our conversation that I wasn't charged correctly??!!?? She never said what I should have been charged (I understand mistakes happen- if it wasn't too big a difference would have paid it- was still happy with service and response time). At the end of the conversation I was under the impression that I was being charged the $125.88 as we went over the invoice together.
Imagine my surprise when I got a notice from the bank that I overdrew my account! I was charged the before coupon price!!
I had put a couple of bills on hold until I got someone here and services paid for. Based on what I thought I was being charged I then divided what I had left and paid my gas and electric bills. When those went thru I was then less than $2 overdrawn and it ended up costing me another $36!! Not to mention the embarrassment!!
I then called them on 9/26/2013. I admit that I did not have the invoice in front of me when I called to say they charged me wrong, I had a small break and I took it...lol. The second person I talked to answered, said she remembered talking to me and that the 10.00 was tax. There was already taxes included on the invoice Matt had left. I told her that. She laughed, started to say something about charges coming out to Topeka. I said I would get back with her when I had invoice with me. On 9/28/2013 I had to run into Lawrence, so decided to show them the invoice in person- also had notice from bank to show what their actions had led to. Looked them up, found address, but could not find location.
What started out as excellent service, ended up being one of the worst!

Vanya was quite knowledgable and professional. He kept his cool even though our dogs were barking at him, and he was cheerful and reassuring about possible solutions to our problem. He carefully inspected every room where there might be danger, and told us many facts we didn't know before. We hope our problem doesn't come back, but if it did, we would definitely hire him again.

Everybody recommended them before we used them. We have an apartment at the back of our place so we pay kind of double and I am not sure if that is what everybody charges. Nine times out of ten they are always here on time or if not early. They do the job quickly and it seems to work. We had ants when we moved in and they came out and treated it, we have not had ants since then. There was a miscommunication on both sides once, but 90% of the time they are good. It was when I was waiting for them and they thought we had a different date and someone from their office had told us something weird. They come regularly and do their job and leave.

They come out every other month. They do an excellent job. I give them all a's. I will use them again. I do not have anything to compare the price to, but I think their work is worth the price.

I have been using them quarterly since fall 2009 to control insects in the house (primarily spiders, ants). I call and they set up an appointment time to come, usually within a day or two. The technicians have always been very professional, polite. They go about their work quickly and when they finish I sign off and they leave. They leave the bill, which I pay by mail.

The cost of this service was rolled into our closing cost of our house, so I am not sure what the price was. Someone was home when they were here, but they pretty much di the work themselves. They walked around the house and we did not really walk around the house with him. They give you a brief verbal report and then printed a report to send to the mortgage company. We went with them because we liked that it was locally owned and that they strife for environmental kindness.

We had moved into a new home/new area and the house had a problem with spiders, beetles and other insects. I called Haley in the morning, they sent a technician out the same day (he was the owner's brother - it is a family-owned firm). He took his time carefully spraying, then showed us where the insects were likely coming in, recommended caulking and weatherstripping where appropriate. He was courteous and professional.
