This project went extremely well. We had a "spec" house with poor construction using poor materials. We are retired and were here the entire time they worked. We saw the care and expertise. We were shown rotted places and prepared for extra work to repair the faulty places. They came to work with a good attitude and explained fully what they were doing and showed us why it needed to be done. Our front window had been leaking cold air in the winter. There was a gap on the outside and the window had been installed incorrectly and water had been leaking and rotting out places. They had to take off the window and install it correctly. We should be warmer there this winter. This even involved changing interior trim which they immediately painted to match. We believe our heating and air conditioning costs will go down from these improvements. Our new deck is like having another room added to our house. They used screws to put it together and no more will nails pop out of the flooring. The footings are now sitting on solid concrete instead of the wood stuck in the ground. They were able to create a partial roof to cover a portion of the deck. I think the word create is appropriate.
