This mower was only one year old. It was a self-propelled push mower, not a cheap one at all.
I would never take another mower there. They do not give refunds, I don't think they have any idea what they are doing, and they charge way too much money for what they do.
I have a Toro riding lawnmower & took it to Koko's where I asked specifically for my center spindle, a bent pulley, and two belt guards to be replaced, and I asked for the handles adjusted. I received a call that the price would be $289 for all parts and labor, which I agreed to. About 5 mins later I received a second call stating that the price needed to be changed to $300 because they left a guard off of the previous total, I agreed to the price change. When I picked up the mower, the handles were completely our of alignment but, using their tools, I fixed the alignment myself. When I went to use the mower it was in worse shape than when I dropped it off. I discovered that neither the spindle nor the pulley were replaced and the guards were both thrown off as the screws they used were too small to hold them on when the belt rode high on the unreplaced pulley. Koko's said they would fix everything, but then tried to charge me a second time for the parts that I had ordered and paid for the first time. When I went to pick up my mower, I found it damaged and in pieces.
