TOLEFREE CEMENT FINISHING

Mr. Tolefree has been in business for decades, and once had a large crew doing multiple jobs all the time.  I last used him in 2004, to pour a basement floor in a new house (which he did quite well).  On this job, his finisher did not show up, so he and his other helper attempted to do the pouring and finishing.  Bad choice.  Had I not helped, the garage door would not have closed onto a level surface and there would have been a 1.5" hump in one area of the floor.  There are a few areas with a poor finish.  Concrete that escaped the forms in the rear was left behind instead of being cleaned up and removed from the site. 
On the positive side, he is a kind man whom I would trust with any of my property at any time.  On small jobs and jobs where scheduling would permit an insistence on having an experienced finisher, I believe he would do a good job for a competitive price (not the lowest, and far from the highest).
