My home has both a flat roof portion as well as an angled roof. David had replaced my flat roof about 10 yrs ago, it is still in great shape and I've not had a single problem with it. I had some spots on my angled roof where shingles had blown off, and also some leaking around vents. He came out, looked it over, got specific measurements and gave me options for replacement of the whole slanted roof or replacement of part and repair of the other parts, using shingles from replaced part so they matched what was already there. I chose the partial replacement/repair, scheduled it with him and he and his crew came out and completed it in 1 day. I noticed one small issue the next day, told him about it and he came out that evening to take care of it.

After the hail storm, so many houses had been damaged that it was hard to find a contractor to put on new roof and guttering in even a month; let alone do a top notch job.  I was referred to Schaber by someone who told me "he is the best in town for quality work at a fair price."

The bad news for me was that I had already sold the house and it was vacant and I was living in my new house in Florida over 1,000 miles away and failure to get the job done fast because closing was set for April 22.  The job had to be done by April 19 and pass a thorough inspection.  Failure to do so could have ended up delaying the closing or give the buyer a chance to back out in an already weak real estate market.

Hearing my plight, David Schaber agreed to do the job time for closing and do it right.  He had his crew even work on a Sunday and he used top quality materials, the job was flawless, and it passed the buyer's independent inspection.  The cost was pretty much on target with the insurance adjuster's estimate so I was only out my $1,000 deductible.

Bottom line: VERY PLEASED.
