The first time home buyers put all their trust into the Agent representing them however; she took advantage of the fact that they were young and inexperienced because shortly after they moved in, they found out that she did not disclose all of the deficiencies in this home. The couple did everything they were supposed to do i.e,, had an inspection done and termite inspection however; when the agent went over the inspection report with them, she only pointed out certain items that needed to be addressed and glossed over the rest. She never told them that in good faith, she needed to advise them not take this house on because there were too many underlying deficiencies. They put their trust in her to do the right thing so they never had anyone outside of the agent and themselves look at the inspection report so they signed the contract and now, before they can ever sell it, they will have to ensure that all the deficiencies are fixed. Please know, that they do take responsibility for not reading the entire inspection report themselves or for not having someone else go over it with them but again, the Agent was getting paid to represent them and should have done her job. They're expecting their first baby and for the past month they have had to deal with the roof leaking thus doing damage to the inside of the house. They turned it into the insurance company however; their out of pocket expenses are reaching $3,000.00. Not to mention that the insurance company has invested over $5,000.00 to fix all the damage to the inside. These are not trustworthy people and it makes one wonder how many other people they have taken advantage of. Stay away from them.
