About us
Quick Relief Plumbing started in 2012 with the idea of serving the community with superior plumbing service and quality workmanship. Owner Anthony Ficara grew up in the plumbing industry, working alongside his father starting at the age of 5. At first, Anthony would run back and forth to the truck getting whatever tools or materials his father needed. Eventually, that progressed to small plumbing tasks, including learning to solder copper pipe, repairing toilets and faucets, and finally moving up to more challenging tasks. After many years of hard work learning and implementing what he learned, Anthony realized he had a great passion for the plumbing industry & decided to make a career out of plumbing. At age 16, Anthony started with a plumbing company in Kansas city, plumbing new homes. Anthony was unfamiliar with plumbing in the context of new construction, as it encompassed an array of challenges. He quickly picked it up and began plumbing whole houses by age 17. The company he worked for plumbed about 300 homes a year, from smaller 3 bedroom 2.5 bath homes to multi-million dollar homes. With each step along the way, there was more and more to learn. At age 18, Anthony was plumbing mostly multi-million dollar homes, each with unique challenges. This taught Anthony that wherever there is a problem, there is a solution. Often the homeowner would request something that had yet to be done before or seemed impossible. Anthony was always up for the challenge, which helped him to grow into a true problem solver. "I am sorry this happened, this was a job through a home warranty company. I explained to [Member Name Removed] several times that the pipe needed to be changed completely bit the home warranty would not approve repair. I have [Member Name Removed] a very reduced price to replace pipe & she refused. I tried helping in every way, but the advice & recommendation from me was ignored. The pipe from the bathrooms ran uphill & needed to be removed & replaced with proper fall. Waste does not flow uphill & the problem [Member Name Removed] is having is the same problem I was sent out to fix, if [Member Name Removed] had allowed me too repair as I recommended this problem would have been resolved then. I did not receive a voice mail, may have missed it. I tried contacting, the number I have is no good. I would still like to try & resolve if [Member Name Removed] contacts me."
Removed a section of the pipe to install the clean-out fitting. Installed the clean out and replaced the dirt. Now if we have a sewer blockage in the future he can uncap the pipe and snake the line from outside the house.
Shortly before 2 o'clock Anthony called to say he would be at our house in about ten minutes, and he was. The response time was spot on and he unclogged the drain quickly, probably in less than 20 minutes. He quickly assessed the situation and resolved the problem. Quick, just like the company name says.
We were happy to receive the 10% senior discount as mentioned on Angie's List. The price seemed fair for a weekend call with service within a few hours of making our call. And my husband was glad to be able to shower after having worked out in the heat.
In addition to the timely response and speedy resolution, we received a written warranty covering any blockage that might reoccur within the next 30 days.
