Phillips Construction

We were very diligent in getting multiple estimates before we selected Phillips. I am very glad we did. The process was smooth and stress free. They worked us into the schedule immediately and the process took about three days start to finish. The were very efficient in hammering up the old driveway. They showed my husband how some big tree roots had forced the drive up over the years. Everything was hauled off at the end of the night and they left the area neat. They took their time on grading, putting down the forms and getting the gravel down. They had equipment for leveling and put some though into the way it should slope for drainage. They had two men working on the grading. When they got ready to pour my little grandson and I watched out the window. I counted 8 men. They arrived prior to the cement truck and went over everything again and I saw lots of equipment for some sort of measuring. When the truck arrived, they worked very quickly and it was a good team effort. They put a broom finish with a picture frame on the driveway. They tried several ways of doing things on the sidewalk. It looked very difficult, and the people that did the finish looked very skilled. The sidewalk looks amazing as does the driveway. As the team cleared out, they left two people to do the finish on it. Someone came back to oversee things to make sure it was finished correctly. I felt that they left nothing to chance and took pride in their work. They ended around 7pm. The day after next they came back in the morning and took the forms out and cut the driveway. They did a very good job of filling in the area with dirt they brought. They kept the area and the street in front of the house clean throughout the whole process. They did not damage my yard, all we have to do is seed the new dirt around the edges of the driveway. I have gotten many compliments on the driveway and what a good job this company did. I look forward to using our new driveway as soon as it cures.
