MKand B brought in Cabinet ReStyling and Custom Painted Furniture to do the cabinet refinishing on our kitchen remodel. They were actually the 2nd cabinet finishing subcontractor that we met with. Brenda looked at our granite and back splash samples and suggested a paint color that was spot on correct. Her advice was a welcome "freebie" and generated goodwill. We're very happy with the color. The cabinet work began in mid October. They removed the doors and drawers and took them with them to remove the old hardware, clean them, and glaze them. They came back and spent three days doing the frames and sides of the cabinets. Two days later they returned and rehung the doors with the new hardware and put the drawers back in. The final day nearly ended on its head when we opened the boxes and found that we were shipped the wrong color hardware. Cabinet ReStyling and Custom Painted Furniture got on the phone to coordinate with MKand B and jumped in their car to go pick up the correct hardware to finish the job on time.

The project went great.They came out before the project started and did a sample board. We could see the finished product would look like. They were neat and there was no mess after they finished.

Created a great look on my fireplace, it was a multi step process and looks great. I will hire them again.

They were always on time with bid appointment, bid submission and actual work. Extremely professional and helpful. Brenda was very helpful in guiding me in choosing the appropriate finishes to go with our interior/design concept (she carries a big portfolio with faux finish examples and will make up one for you to tape up after your consultation). The job was performed on schedule and to our expectations. We have a high standard that was met and even exceeded by them. They even cleaned up very neatly every day at the end of their work day. This was not the least expensive decorative project we have undertaken, but well worth the investment. We really feel like "you get what you pay for." Morningstar is worth the bid price if you want your project done well and right. We totally trusted them with the keys to our house! We look forward to hiring them again for a future project!!
