Replaced around 60 spindles on the staircase going from first floor to second floor. Were able to get the work scheduled in two weeks and the actual work only took about 6 hours to complete. After finishing the work, they cleaned up and removed all the old spindles. I've attached two pictures, one showing the stairs before and another after the upgrade. Would definitely use again. We have plans for a kitchen remodel and will definitely check with them as they offer cabinetry and cabinet refinishing services as well.

they are cabinet makers, so the refacing job really looks like new cabinets, not just some fix

I called in December and met with them twice once at their place of
business and then they came to our house. After the deposit we were on the schedule. The design consultant Allyson was very patient and had some wonderful ideas that made our kitchen even more enjoyable. The project manager Jeff was great too. He gave a lot of attention to detail in the installation process. The install did take longer than I thought. I was imaging the cabinets going up in a day but it took a full work week and then some but the whole project was done by late January. The cabinets are beautiful and we are enjoying our new kitchen.

We were very happy with the end results. It was a nice job and they did good work. I probably will not use them again only because the service and the communication was just a little flaky. Although the end product was good I was nervous the entire time because I had trouble getting deadlines met and return communication.
Response from KC Wood
"At KC Wood we have always focused on a quality product. We recognize that we have had communication difficulties in the past. Since the time that this project was completed over a year ago we have reorganized and worked to improve our scheduling and communication with our customers."

Everything went very smoothly. From making selections in their showroom, to pricing, to installation. They did a nice job cleaning up after installation.
My only dislike was the installers smoke. This was a small condo and it was very noticeable that they smoked. Otherwise they were very polite and professional.
Response from KC Wood
"We talked with the installers regarding the smoking issue. They were not smoking in the house. In the future they will not be smoking within 30 feet of the doors of the residence."

The installation crew were very professional. personnel and paid close attention to detail. They were very responsive to our needs when we were put in contact with the installation crew versus the purchasing side. We are extremely happy with the work they performed and would definitely use them in the future. They were great at cleaning up after they work everyday which was very appreciated.

Excellent craftsmanship! The finish was a black glaze and required exact cuts on all joints to avoid seeing the ends of the wood, which would show the lighter color. The joints are perfect. In one bathroom the interior panels of 2 doors shrank a bit after installation, which did show a very narrow margin of lighter color. Apparently the humidity was higher in the shop than in the home and when it dried out a little this occurred. They quickly made new doors to replace them with absolutely no fuss or excuses. You can not get a better group of folks to do this work. Highly recommend them.
