Dan and Nancy Jones came out for the free estimate. We walked the yard and they took pictures and measurements. Dan Jones created a plan that reflected my tastes. I went by the nursery to pick out the trees.  Dan came out to do the work along with helpers. It was a cold, miserable day, but they were very professional and prompt. Everything was put in exactly as planned and looks great. I've had lots of complements from the neighbors.. Dan provided some additional plans for areas that I want to landscape down the road, so I will keep doing business with Jerry's Nursery and Landscaping.

Most of the bushes in front of the house perished in an extreme drought. Jerry helped plan replacements and design a new bed under the pin oak tree in the front yard. We chose river rock for the beds near the house and mulch under the pin oak. An azalea was moved over by the garage; it didn't do well there and didn't last the season (not enough water). But the boxwoods, spirea and host as are all doing well. The men doing the installation worked quickly and were pleasant and professional. The front of the house looked great after they finished. Everything was cleaned up,  the plants were well spaced, and the shrubs fit in well with the house. Jerry's also repaired a deep valley in the front yard where mole tunnels had collapsed. Looked great after they finished.  I was very pleased and will definitely contact Jerry's again.

We have no problems

Company responded promptly.  The area where molehills had caused severe erosion on the hill slope was filled in and replanted with grass; erosion netting was used to help the grass take hold and prevent further erosion.  Other bare spots and low areas were filled in and reseeded.  Drain spout outlet was moved to an underground system directing water to the bottom of the slope (away from the street).  The yard already looks better and next spring will look very nice indeed.  The cost was fair and I definitely got my money's worth.  They did a great job.

I called a few places for prices on delivered mulch. Chain stores would deliver as much or as little as I wanted of bagged mulch, with either a $60 or $75 delivery fee. Jerry's offered loose mulch with a 5-yard minimum at approx $50/yard, and a $40 delivery fee. So with Jerry's I could get 5 yards of delivered cedar mulch for the price of 4 yards bagged. I didn't call any other nurseries, however.

They asked when I needed it, I was not in a hurry, so they first suggested Tuesday after Labor Day, and that was OK with me if it was morning. Then they re-looked at their schedule and  just said they'd deliver it in an hour or so instead!! They also made the promised phone call just before the driver left, and they were prompt. Dumped it just where I showed them.

The mulch looks fresh and I can't wait to use it!

WE WENT TO THE NURSERY IN OCTOBER AND WANTED TO HAVE SOME TREES PLANTED. WE PICKED OUT TWO FROM THOSE ON THE PREMISES. WE ALSO WANTED A SWEET GUM TREE. THEY SAID THAT THEY HAD SOME OUT ON THE 'FARM' THAT WERE THE SIZE WE WANTED. THEY EXPLAINED THAT IT WAS BEST TO WAIT UNTIL COOLER WEATHER TO PLANT THEM. THEY CALLED ON NOVEMBER 8TH AND ASKED IF IT WOULD BE OKAY TO PLANT THE TREES. WE SAID YES AND THEY WERE OUT AT OUR HOUSE A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER. THEY PLANTED ALL THREE TREES IN ABOUT AN HOUR AND DID A GREAT JOB CLEANING UP. THE TREES LOOK GREAT!
