Herb's Hardwood Floors

It is past time for Herb to retire. I am still finding areas where boards had split during installation, where gaps between boards are wider than they should be. He also covered an air conditioning vent. Fortunately I caught that and got his son to fix it. Also, some of the transitions were not done properly, such as around the fireplace. And one more thing, installing base and shoe where a bar is supposed to be so that it no longer fits snug to the wall. His quality has diminished ( he was once really, really good) and combined with health issues leaves him no longer able to provide the quality service he once did.

I'm getting ready to call him again.  Seems the ice maker broke and leaked for several days under the fridge and now I have a rippled floor.  I hope this is the last time.  I need to sell before Herb retires - but I will say I've met his son and he works really well with his dad too.  
I have no complaints at all.  Herb is friendly and nice and he gets the work done as promised.  He has been very creative with helping me resolve some of the odd things that have turned up.

I thought it was good. They were timely. Everything was good. There was quite an issue I had which is why they had to come back because in one bathroom, when they did the bathroom, they reinstalled the toilet wrong but other than that, that's the only problem I had with them.
