In late April, we had our condenser unit replaced and were told that some more refrigerant was needed but that the refrigerant was not available for a week or so. After about a month and temps warming up we followed up and were told the refrigerant still was not available but would be in a couple weeks (early June). We followed up first again after two weeks and still no refrigerant available. We did this again after another two weeks, then weekly to less and less responsiveness. It is the end of July and we have not had working AC thus far. There is been no check ins or follow-ups that have been initiated by Josh; no offers of temporary solutions or even coming by to confirm it is indeed a refrigerant issue. It may be an industry problem with availability of a new refrigerant, but we would expect that a professional would not install a system in non working order and would have recommended an alternate unit that ran on a different refrigerant had that been a concern.

Josh is very thorough with his diagnostics and services provided. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a professional in the heating and cooling business.

Polite and honest

Josh at Golden Mill not only did an amazing job replacing our entire HVAC system. This included removing the old ducting, installing new ducting, replacing the condenser unit, installing a new furnace, coil and filter rack. He was also was the least expensive option out of all the quotes I received. The work was exceptional. I would highly recommend him for any of your HVAC needs.

Josh is very knowledgeable about heating and air systems! He doesnâ t try to sell any unnecessary products and gave a variety of options on how to address our repair needs. Josh does quality work and doesnâ t cut corners. I would highly recommend his services and we will certainly be lifelong customers!

I truly can't say enough good things about Josh and his incredible work! He helped out my boyfriend and I when we were in a pinch and not getting very good air flow from our air conditioner a few summers ago. Josh came over right away to check out the problem and fixed it that day! We couldn't have asked for a better person to help us out in the middle of a hot Kansas City summer. I've already recommended him to my siblings in town and they equally rave about his timely response, impressive work, and almost unreal affordability. Plus, he's the nicest man you'll ever meet. He even went to my brother's place really early on a Saturday morning to help with an HVAC emergency (again, a faulty air conditioner in the middle of summer.) He truly cares about his customers. My entire family has already pledged that we'll never need another HVAC guy again thanks to knowing Josh!
