Curb Appeal Heroes

I am really slow posting this review. I had Hogan and his team build me a small composite deck before Thanksgiving in November 2024. What a great group of fellows!!! They were very considerate and courteous and had really great work ethic, barely even taking any breaks. They were great at answering all my many questions in a way that was easy for me to understand. I truly appreciated this team and highly recommend them.

Hogan and his team did an excellent job on our deck remode. Complete new composite deck and stairs. Replaced railing, then stained all railings. He kept us informed of the work during the whole project. He has very hard workers. They take pride in their work. We would recommend them for any jobs you have for decking. Cheryl Z

Excellent workmanship and follow up.

It was horrible. My house is in worse shape now then it was when he started. I have to have all of the work redone by another provider. He also got paint on my furniture and carpet. I have had to replace 2 doors because he hung them wrong. He hung light fixtures incorrectly. I have paint chipping off of the wood work after I dust it. There is paint chipping off where he taped. Paint has dripped down from the ceiling because he used too much. Some of the areas got one coat, some got 2. He got paint on the light fixtures. He painted around mirrors as opposed to taking them down and painting. I asked him to turn it in to his insurance company. He initially told me he had a million dollars worth of coverage. He also had that information presented on his advertising materials. it turns out he does not have any insurance. He also took the paint supplies that I purchased before the project started.

They did a good job. They came when they were scheuduled and got the job done within the time quoted. We were very satisfied with the results.

Hogan and his team did a great job! We had a little bit of difficulty communicating a start date in the beginning. But after things got going, the team was fast, thorough, professional, and fair on pricing. We did find some left over nails/scraps lying around the house, but we otherwise very pleased with the job they performed. I think pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work performed. Hogan stands by their work and offer a 2 year warranty for anything that needs retouched or repaired. Hopefully we won't have the same leaky windows in the future, but we won't know until we get that first big rain in the spring. It is nice to know that if we still have problems with the windows leaking, they will come back and try to fix it!

Hogan and the team did a great job from start to finish. Estimates, pricing, prep and actual stucco repair and painting went smoothly, with Hogan (owner) onsite and engaged throughout.

UPDATE: Additional wood rot was uncovered by the HOA painting crew and I asked Hogan to come out and bid on the job. He gave me a great price and had the work done one week earlier than originally planned. Now the HOA can finish their trim painting (which I hope lasts as long as the stucco paint Hogan's team did on the entire building!).

Hogan's crew is now working on my friend's home in Brookside, MO. Both inside and outside. If you need a great painter with a fabulous crew and wonderful work ethics, call Hogan.

The owner actually came to us and offered a quote. Many of the homes in our neighborhood were getting small to large repair and he already was in our neighborhood on another job. He wasn't pushy about it, he just asked my husband if we would like a quote for any repairs. After having two other quotes, it wasn't going to hurt us to speak with him. He made an initial quote, which was $300-$700 less than the others. It can make me somewhat nervous to go with the least expensive quote, but he made me feel completey comfortable that he was capable of completing the job. He showed up to work when he said he would be there and the job was completed in an extremely reasonable timeframe. I have seen he and his crew working off and on lately, and I notice that they complete a job from start to finish. People are there working everyday to get the job done. Anymore, you expect the here one day, gone the next routine, so this that been refreshing to see them working until something is finished. I also expected that I would pay more than the original quote, as that seems to be the norm for any home repairs. I was almost shocked when what he had quoted was what he actually charged. When we need any kind of exterior work or interior painting, we will be calling him again in the future.

Very professional honest cleaned up. Finished in timely manner. Agreed price. No surprise.
