I am a Licence contractor which I had made a huge mistake to hire Leo Chavez for my home ... Just be very careful about this guy Leo he doesn? know anything about plumbing ... He doesnt know anything about electrical And not tile job ... He is good for demo and haul-way trash thats how I hired him and because he has a very innocent look and he use his family in his first meeting and he had a good reviews here (very important reason I hired Him )I thought he is a honest man and gave him more business and we agreed on the price after a two weeks he came to me with a sorry face his METHOD of fooling people :-( And he mentioned he made a mistake and I have to pay him another 9 k on top of our original agreement which was $7000 I was shocked and between the project no had other choice to accept it and I also I was still trusting him at that point he promised to finish my remodeling in a month and he guarantee he bring a Licence or very professional trade technician to do my job instead because he needs their help . He promised me he finish the project in one month max and it took about two month and half and still is not done . I accepted he had a guy came and do my electrical which cost about $2000 so far to fix what he screws up here it . Same about plumbing which he messed up my whole plumbing and cost me about $1500 to fix that and still there is a lot left and he is keep coming to me and asking me for extra money and when I told him I don?t have any more money to give it to you because you have not done your job yet he got aggressive and starts treating me and make me feel so unsafe that I have to band him from the resort I live in . Also he treating me to call my clients(who has done job for them )he is very unprofessional and frankly dangerous at this point .

He is wonderful , on time, clean, polite, and does amazing work ! He painted the exterior of my home and did a stacked stone fireplace for me !

Removed and re-hung some cabinets, installed a faucet, stained grout. Great job and very reasonably priced. I recommend.

Quick response to my initial request. Estimate given and was very fair, and was immediately able to set up repairs the following day. Leo arrived on time and did a quality job on repairing drywall in two ceilings. I will continue to use Leo as my Handy Man and will refer him to my neighbors.

I loved how careful he was, his attention to detail. Not only did he do a perfect job his customer service skills were better than I expected. So easy to work with, will bend over backward to make customer happy. I will keep him forever. Once I am moved in, he will hang everything inside and out. He measures, he is percise, I am anything but easy, I expect a lot. He needs to charge more, he is worth it and I told him so. When you get someone that does a great job they should be compensated for their work.

Was very eager and willing to hang new garage storage shelves. Said he had done them before. Became clear he had not. Would not read or follow instructions. Had to redo steps many times. Looked for studs by tapping, not stud finder and missed too many times. I could not risk the weight not being anchored correctly. After 3 hours he had not finished the 1st of 4 units. Fired him and found someone else.

Chavez did great job on fixing my drywall as well many other things

Showed up on time and received estimate in timely manner. Completed all work as required at a very reasonable price. Always making sure that you are satisfied with the work. Will continue to hire for future projects.

I feel sorry that he had so much trouble replacing a large window screen. He eventually got it right but it took all day

I question his dependability. He showed up the first time, did some work and has not shown up since. I think he needs a working number

Chavez contacted us within 2 hours of our Home Advisor request which was on a weekend. He arrived early on the scheduled work day, we had provided him a list of multiple small projects and he started immediately working on the list. When going over the work to be done, he recommended things that were less costly but solved the problem. When he needed to get a replacement motor for a bathroom fan, he went & purchased it and returned shortly to install. His work was very professional. We will definitely use him again.

I have worked with contractors for 20 years on a regular basis building and remodeling homes. He is by far one of the best when it comes to details. Typically you need to pay much more for this high quality work, but to get both the highest quality work for a responsible price is unheard of. After initially doing my first repair job, which was carpentry and painting, I saw how detailed his work was and hired him to install traveterine tile throughout our master bathroom and two other guest bathroom. The tile work tuned out perfect. I will never use anyone else.
