I thought his quote was high but he said he lived a block away which I considered was a good thing. He complained the entire time that I did not pay him enough. I figured out it cost me $75 and hour which I thought that was excessive. The work looks awful. He patched over joints with metal; they look like band aids. He did something else telling me that was normal for old houses then telling me it was there before. I new damn good and well it had not been there before. He did not do continuous boards he just cut out the part that was rotted. I had to keep calling him. It took him six weeks. He only worked sixteen hours. He also did not haul off the debris so now I have to pay someone else to do that. It was just a really bad experience. He lied to me about his address as well.
