Had a job for installing some cabinets and a sink, and installing a shower into an existing bathroom. Plumbing was there, just needed finishing touches. When given the quote, we were told that they would install the cabinets, but then when the techs came out they said they couldn't. They left a mess and the shower faucets drips. They also added the pipes for the sink in the wrong place and we had to change how we wanted the cabinets installed. On a good note, after we installed the cabinets ourselves and finished
the sink plumbing ourselves, they came out and fixed one of the connections that kept blowing off and getting everything soaked. Nice
enough guys, just had several frustrations.

M and L Service owner was the tech who responded to my call. He was professional, and provided pertinent information regarding the viability of my furnace. Apparently it was manufactured for Coleman by a company that went out of business a short time after the furnace was manufactured; parts were no longer available. This information ultimately lead to my decision to replace the furnace. M and L Service did not provide or install the new unit. I would call M and L for furnace issues in the future.

The plumber arrived on time and asked what I wanted to have done. He performed the tasks efficiently and removed all trash and debris from the premises. He also hauled away the old gas stove.

Joe did the estimate and he was pretty close. Two guys showed up on 5/21 so I stayed home from work, they were about an hour later than they said they would be there.
They started work right away and by the time I got home at 5P, they were gone. I would have appreciated a call once or twice during the day or even after they were on their way home to let me know how it was going or if it was even done.
I inspected the unit, lots of small trash inside and outside. work site was messy. Simple sheet metal work, I thought the seams would be taped or something, but I don't feel much air escaping. They also closed up my vent on my gas water heater, not sure if that is OK or not. The also put in two new gas vents to the outside, just two PVC tubes sticking out from the house.
I called the office to see if they were done or not, but no way to contact them after hours. I did get several calls the next morning, I was proactive and left my sliding door open as I didn't feel they were done. Sure enough, they weren't. They had the AC up and running but not the furnace, it was not hooked to gas yet. So glad I left the door open so they could finish it.
The day they finished, still no call they were done. I was going to wait another 24 hours to close the house up and run the new AC to see how everything ran. That night washing dishes, I felt cool air coming out of the vent. They had the AC on, set at 75 degrees and never closed a single window. So the system ran all day long with all the windows open. Going to hate to see that electric bill!!! Plus debris inside was cleaned up, but not outside. Plus one of the vent tubes has a U-piece added, the other is still sticking straight out..perfect opening for birds, bugs, etc to come into my brand new furnace.
so two weeks later, the system runs quiet, keeps the house cool quickly and then Memorial Day weekend, I noticed water coming out of the AC room. Checking to see where it was coming from, the overflow tube should have been stuck into a larger tube to drain that water off, it was not. It was easy enough to stick it in there, just hope I don't get a lot of overflow as it is not a closed system.
Overall, I might use them again, they have done good work for me before. I was just a little disappointed in the pride of workmanship for this job. Updates would have been nice, and a follow-up call to see if everything is working right would have been nice..I have not seen the warranty documents, but Joe assured me it was guaranteed for a lifetime.
My recommendations: get at least 2-3 estimates. Make sure Joe calls you at least once during the day so you know what's going on. Inspect the work daily, and let them know what concerns you.

They communicated really well with what was going on. They had a few issues with a saw to cut the basement walls because our basement walls were really thick. Every step of the way they would inform us what the hold up was and what the issue was.

Excellent. I highly recommend using their services. FYI, don't be discouraged when you initially call if an elderly woman answers and it seems as though she might not understand you. She is very competent and knowledgeable she is just a slow talker but friendly.

It took longer than expected to cut the windows due to dense concrete and thicker foundation walls, but they got the windows in and they look great. For the plumbing they had to finish cutting the floor before they could lay the plumbing.

I called Mand L and asked for assistance in making sure our furnace and air conditioner was working correctly, as we had some problems during the summer and with winter coming on I wanted to make sure there would be no more issues. The contractor said that they would be out on Saturday by 10am, but they actually came by noon. While this is a small area of concern for me, it was a concern because I respect people being there when they say that they will be there.
The contractor checked all of the areas of the furnace, including the pilot light, the fan, the motor and the air filter. He replaced the air filter and the fan, and re-lit the pilot light for us as it had gone out during the summer. He was very personable and did his best to address all of our concerns, including making sure that the cost was within our budget.
I would have used this company again, but when I called their number was out of service and I could not find a new number.

They come once a week without calling to make sure everything works correctly. They are punctual and have reasonable pricing. They are also clean and very trustworthy. I trust this company in my home when I'm not there.
