We too have the same story as others mentioned below. It was a horrible experience. Reading the comments below was like reliving the whole experience. We lost $4000 on work that was never done.

these companies are too far away for us to use.

He got my name from another contractor, contacted me with a bid.After agreeing on a price i gave him a check for meterial, have not seen him since.  This man is a  thief and Scam artist. I can't believe he is not in jail where he belongs.

He came to my home on or about the 4th day of April, 2012.  I knew my pipe was leaking... He went downstairs to look at it.  Came back up bout 4 minutes later and said they all needed replaced and would be around $4000.  I was shocked but wanted it fixed.  He told me that any other company would charge around $5000 plus parts for this type of job.  So i said ok.  He said he needed $3000 up front and the rest after completion.  I Gave him cash, he gave me a receipt and i haven't saw him since.  I have contacted by searching online and in phonebooks.  His ex wife told me he left Hoxie, Kansas area and is now working in Garden City, KS.  I have found around 8 other families that he has scammed.  And i hear there is more out there.  Very dissappointed!!

On May 18, David Rosales showed up at our house with a helper and began breaking concrete. At this time we gave him a check, which he cashed, in the amount of $3,500.00. We also paid him $225.00 during his initial visit to our house. Two days later he abandoned the project, leaving thousands of dollars in damage to concrete. He attempted to excuse the delay in returning to the job by claiming his daughter had been seriously injured in an accident, and several days later he said she died. This turned out to be a lie. I spoke personally with David Rosales' wife, who said they are currently in the process of a divorce. She told me she has heard from others with similar stories in recent months. David Rosales has refused to return numerous phone messages left at four different phone numbers. We have since had another plumbing company assess the situation. The plumber told us that the pipe that was put in the basement floor is unusable since it is buried too shallow to make the necessary plumbing connections. This plumber told us it is clear to him that this was a scam from the beginning and that the work could not possibly have been finished in a way that would drain. He also said it is likely that our sewer line does not, in fact, need to be replaced. We are in the process of sorting things out at this time. However, the fact is that David Rosales of Rosales Plumbing failed to live up to the terms of a contract, took our money, abandoned the job, and left us with thousands of dollars in damage to our property.
