Hardwood Flooring Service
This job was refinishing the main staircase in our 1918 Victorian home. He insisted on a 50% deposit, which I paid and said he would be here in about a month. They arrived in about 6 weeks. When they were partially complete, they didn't return and sent us a bill for the other 50%, which I didn't pay. I called them May 19 and May 28, leaving a message both times asking them to finish the job & then I would pay the balance.
They left several spots of exposed glue on the skirtboards. There are 4 places where the sander gouged into the skirtboard. There is a stain the size of a nickel of the landing. They left a footprint on one of the treads.
