That didn’t cost me anything.

I had another shop balance my tires on my Yukon XL and had a really bad vibration after they were done. I stopped by and his tech drove the truck, confirmed the issue, fixed it by re-balancing the tire and then drive it again. Its nice to have a shop confirm your issue, fix it and then confirm its fixed before they give it back. Money well spent and Yes i should have just had them do it the first time.

Mechanic drove car around, tested for source of vibration, found major source, fixed it.  Cost included diagnostics. 
This was the 5th attempt of trying to get rid of vibration.  First place (Olathe) said it was due to need for new tires and brakes (very expensive).  Second place (Overland Park - went 3 times) said it was due to need for new motor mount (also got back brakes here - much cheaper than Olathe).  This helped some.  Next time said it needed a major tuneup with wiring and parts.  Last time said it might be due to carbon in engine and had gasoline treatment, etc.  The last time was with an expert - what a change.  I will certainly go here for now on.  They fixed most of the vibration - will go back later and get other side fixed if necessary.  The work was prompt, the price was reasonable. 

This location is very convenient for me, it is right off I-35. I thought all employees were very friendl, and knew much more about tires than Wal-Mart, where I typically go to get new tires. They were relatively quick, even though there were several people ahead of me, and the waiting area is clean and spacious. They did try to up sell me on the nicest brand of tires, but I stuck with the generic ones because they were almost 30% less. They weren't overly pushy, though, and they said if I have any problems, I can come back and they'll take care of it. They also offers a protection plan that allows you to get free patches, in case your tire goes flat.

We've used them for years. You can get in when you need to. They do a good job. You can trust them. They don't tell you something is broke when it's not.
