great.  He was quick, fast response, very reasonable.

He did not have the proper skills or equipment to tile with travertine.  Poor quality cuts leaving uneven cuts & spacing of tile.  Corner cuts not matching and uneven.  Wasted  allot of expensive stone because of bad cuts and not reusing left over pieces.  When criticized about  quality of work he always had an excuse.  Usually blowing my comments off with something like it will look better when it was grouted.  Tom is a big talker.  He has an excuse for everything.  He was always trying to reassure me that I was getting his best work, and that he was proud of his work. 

Also he would not show up for work as promised but would call to say something came up.  The job was to take 2 weeks, after 3 weeks he was not close to being finished.

Sheetrock was not completely attached to wall.  Many screws that did not  make contact with wood.  Bad sheetrock cuts with uneven gaps.  His worker  had not hung sheetrock before and was not shown how to do a proper job.

He poured unused white  thin-set in the street and never cleaned up the mess.

He made two holes in the wall in my attic stairway and never attempted to repair them.

 I had completed the demo and prep work leaving my tools on my back porch.  I am missing tools.

He was fired after repeated attempts to get him to replace bad cuts & poorly laid tile.  He would threaten me with higher  labor fees for having to redo the work. 

Before final payment I asked for all the receipts on materials.  He had tried to charge me for tools and materials not being used on my job.

He name is Tom McNeil, he is from the Fort Scott, KS area, but  claims he does most of his work in the Overland Park, Johnson county, Kansa area. 

After this experience I have received another negative report of his work due in the past.
