Scott Oliver is extremely professional, was always on time, and did a great job tuning our piano. He had tuned our piano for over 14 years and we were always happy with his work. We would highly recommend him to anyone.

Scott has been tuning my piano for more than 20 years and always does a great job. He is trustworthy, professional and I highly recommend him.

Piano was tuned as usual. They were punctual. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver are very nice. Specific instructions and recommendations were clearly given to me. Appointment did not take long. And Mr. Oliver always goes to great lengths to accommodate my schedule. This individual has been tuning our piano for over 10 years and it still sounds beautiful.

I have literally used Scott for tuning twice per year since 2000. He has maintained both a Yamaha console and the grand piano I purchased in 2004. He proactively contacts me at the time we mutually agree upon after each tuning and is always on time.

Scott has been tuning my piano for approximately 20 years. I first heard about him when I called a local piano store selling high quality pianos and asked who they recommended. They recommended Scott. He and I together set the schedule as to how often I would like the piano tuned. Without fail he called me each time the tuning was due, we set up a convenient appointment and he came as scheduled. There were very few problems with my piano that came up over the years, I'm sure due to Scott's great care of it. At the end of each tuning Scott talked over with me what he had done and how he thought the piano was generally doing. I had plenty of opportunity to ask questions. His tuning expertise, his conscientiousness, his respect for my piano and caring about it...all aspects of his service are just great. I highly recommend him!

Every year he has taken care of my piano. He is very precise with his work. He goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are satisfied. He recently moved out of the area and we really miss having his service.

Scott is a quality individual, nice, prompt and he delivers a quality product. The piano is tuned perfectly each time. He moved from the Omaha area and we are sad he has gone. We have had him tune our grand piano for about 9 years now.

Scott and his wife are very punctual. They are very efficient with their time. They leave the house with no traces of their visit, other than a well tuned piano! They have been a delight. I wish they were still in Omaha!

Scott Oliver is the only person I have ever had tune my personal piano, and - following a bad experience with another tuner - I also hired him to tune the pianos at our church as well. I have worked with Scott and his wife, Maren, for over 10 years, and greatly miss them now that they have relocated. Scott and Maren travel together to appointments as Scott is blind. They are always prompt, and call if they will be late for any reason. When they arrive, they ask to go directly to the piano, and get right to work. They are pleasant to chat with while they work, but are also very professional and use their time well. Scott is a wonderful tuner, and also checks the instrument for any needed repairs. If he is able, he will make repairs right away, or will recommend any improvements necessary (e.g. at the church, he recommended a humidifier system to help hold the tuning longer and better care for the piano. When we decided to go ahead with the install, he ordered it and installed it himself). The cost for the tuning is very reasonable, and any changes in cost (I think over ten years, the cost has increased by about $10) are communicated prior to the appointment.

Scott and Marne are WONDERFUL. We entrusted Scott with the care of our Yamaha grand piano since we purchased it in 1991, a 23 year relationship that became a friendship. Scott always provided the services we needed based on the condition of our piano. When the humidity levels in our home were too low and it wouldn't hold tune, Scott would come twice a year. Otherwise, he would tell us, "I only need to come once a year." Unlike many service providers (including health care providers), Scott asks questions. How much use does the piano get? Who uses it most? (I have a much heavier hand than my wife!) He also explained in detail his findings - "your piano is out of tune with itself," "it's holding tune quite well this year," etc. Scott and Marne were always prompt, and on the one or two occasions when they were delayed, they always called to let us know. We were very sad when they personally called to let us know they were moving to Emporia. The only bright spot is that our oldest daughter and her family live in Emporia (I know! What are the odds?!? Omaha, Nebraska to Emporia, Kansas??). Our 11 year old granddaughter plays, and she will now have Scott to care for her piano. We are looking forward to our next family visit, and hope Scott and Marne can make time to meet us for coffee and a visit to catch up. You will not be disappointed with Scott the Piano Tuner!

Scott Oliver has been tuning our pianos since about 1988. Scott has a high level of professionalism, customer service, courtesy, punctuality and organization. He always did a great job at a reasonable cost. We were sad to see him leave the Omaha area, but we wish Scott and Marne nothing but the best in their new location in Kansas. We had three different pianos during the time we used Scott's services and of course he was familiar with each one and did a great job. If you are in need of a piano tuner, Scott is your guy and you will not be disappointed!
